Visited on the 23/02. Arrived at 7:30pm, ordered food and drink within 10 minutes after arriving. Unfortunately food arrived at 20:55. 1 hour 15 mins after ordering. My friends steak was rare and should have been medium, but she didn’t dare send it back due to the already long wait. Garlic bread was cold as it had been sat for some time whilst they dished the meals up. Service ok, but the lad behind the bar quite rude. Our waitress was lovely and very apologetic. It’s a lovely place and the food is good, but it will soon have big issues if they don’t address the food timings and some staff attitudes sooner rather than later.

My wife and I dined on Valentine's night. The whole atmosphere worked very well. From the glass of prosecco on entry, to the heart shaped box of chocolates on departure. As usual the meal was first class. The service was quick and very professional. We shall be returning soon.

Yet another fantastic meal at ellenders , we came for valentines meal it didn’t disappoint couldn’t fault the food/service or the little touches like chocolates and balloon we got to take home just perfect thank you x

Excellent Valentine’s set menu. Our first time here and definitely won’t be our last! Service was a bit on the slow side given the restaurant was nowhere near full, but the quality of the steak alone made it worth the wait.

Attended on 14.2.2022 valentines meal. 3 courses and a class of Prosecco for £37 each. Good quality food, nice atmosphere and truly great service

I booked for my daughters 10th birthday, she plays football for BUFC and we wanted an after match gathering for her and her teammates. Claire was very helpful in organising for 12 children and supported with menu choices and all dietary requirements were catered for. The front of house team were more than happy to assist with decorations etc. Fully appreciated that we picked a busy Sunday lunchtime and the children/parents had a great time. We are very lucky to have such a wonderful facility available.

Visited on 05/02/22. Fantastic food well presented. Steak was cooked just as I like it.Staff were friendly and helpful. Only negative was we waited a while for our starters but after that the service was excellent. A little expensive but you don't mind if the food is of great quality Will be back in 3 weeks for hopefully another great meal.

2 of us had an early evening meal last night. The food was very nicely presented, was nice and hot and tasted delicious. The waitresses were lovely, polite and attentive and the current offer made our meal excellent value. Have had a number of meals at Ellendars now ranging from a light lunch through to 3 course meal and its always great. A lovely venue, that's a mix of modern and traditional which works really well.

Great venue, great food and great staff! What more could you ask for?
