The food was really poor, sadly. The Thai vegetable curry was grossly undercooked with spongy, dry blocks of aubergine amid crunchy vegetables. The pasta in the "seafood" tagliatelle was overcooked. Clueless, dull food.

Excellent meal,as usual

What a lovely place! I know how hard Chloe and her team haveworked to get The Good Grub up and running and it has paid off. The food was delicious. The décor is stunning. The service was impeccable. We will be booking for dinner soon.

We took friends and enjoyed the oysters, tempura prawns and tiger prawn special. I had bouillabaisse which would be better without the sour cream garnish. Good friendly service

We had a wonderful meal last Friday evening. The "steak" had a lovely texture and flavour, complemented beautifully by the peppercorn sauce and the chips were perfect. The staff were delightful. Well done all!

Enjoyed our seitan toastie and falafel wrap outside in the sunshine on this lovely tree-lined Eastbourne street. Both lunches tasty especially the creamy seitan toastie. The chocolate brownie and ice cream- best brownie I’ve had in a long time! Service was friendly and price very reasonable. We’ll be back!

Delicious fish, perfectly cooked. Unpretentious - a hidden gem. Would highly recommend.

It was totally delightful, lovely food, lovely people great atmosphere .

Really enjoyed all we ate from the menu!!! We ate early and wished we’d booked later when we really would have had the lobster or the sole !! Service was really good. We really enjoyed it. Downside are the rounded windows . Not an easy one to keep clean - but worth a rethink on how to keep the sun out!!

Outstanding cuisine and service.

We came for a meal on opening night! And had a lovely meal, we had the ‘steaks’ and they were delicious, especially paired with the garlic mushrooms and truffle mayo! And chips were delish, we also between us had the Biscoff brownie, strawberry trifle and sticky toffee pudding, and all were lovely, (the brownie especially was amazing) we really enjoyed our meal and look forwards to coming again in the future to try out other dishes.

Fabulous evening at opening night! The food was great, with main course as a real winner. I had the ‘seafood’ pasta which was incredible - so fragrant and flavourful. My husband had the ‘steak’ which he also really enjoyed. A huge well done and thank you to the wonderful team working there. Friendly and warm service, even though they were clearly very busy. A fantastic team! We’re already planning when we’ll be back, as saw a Sunday roast on the menu - who could resist?!

Have enjoyed every meal we have had at Into The Blue restaurant. Yesterday was almost the best yet with beautifully light Tempura prawns followed by half a lobster thermidor; it was wonderful.

We love the food at Into The Blue, and it is definitely worth the effort of driving from the other side of Newhaven, through Brighton to enjoy the delicate and stunning dishes. Thank you and thoroughly recommend.

I have just about exhausted my praises for this delightful restaurant. Their Dover Sole Meuniere is sublime and their Indian kissed potatoes are marvellous.
