A lovely friendly team and great food. I find I am however now tiring of the tapas style menu and would like to return more towards the previous style of menu with the small plates an option. The tables need to be large to cope with small plates and I could not understand why (when I had asked to separate out the cold and hot courses) we were given the prawn cocktail at the time of the hot dishes.

My husband and I enjoyed a wedding anniversary meal at Into The Blue as a treat. The menu was tapas style which we didn’t expect but it was a lovely way to try different foods, and it really was delicious. I’d say for two adults you need to order at least 6 / 7 dishes as the portions are quite small but the variety was enjoyed, the fish was fresh and we’d definitely go back again when in need for a treat. We went on a mid week evening when the restaurant was pretty quiet, so the service very prompt. I did feel it was very expensive for the portion sizes that came out (ie £10 for three very small fish cakes as one example) but as I said above.. it’s a delicious treat and we have a great time.

We had dinner at Into The Blue on Wednesday August 26. We went there based on a recommendation and I owe that man a beer. We both love seafood and hadn’t realised we had a little gem close to our doorstep for 5 years. We had the special set for two which had multiple dishes, starters and mains with a great variety of predominantly fish. I would describe it as fish tapas, but most fish you can imagine is on the menu. Great service and we shall certainly be back having discovered this place at last.

Had a great meal last night, food was absolutely delicious and could not be faulted. Great service too. Overall, perfect.

We had a really nice lunch at Into the Blue on a short trip to Shoreham on Sea. High quality ingredients, very well cooked and presented. Service and atmosphere also really nice and coming from London very good value for money.

Visited the The Bell in Iden on the 18 August. It is a beautiful old inn in a small village with a good sized beer garden. A very friendly welcome awaits by the hosts. The food was excellent. We had lamb shank , which had a lovely Asian fusion flavour, a delicious pasta dish and probably the best cod and chips I have eaten. The atmosphere is relaxed with fascinating historical internal architecture. Would definitely visit again

It's just fabulous

Having dietary restrictions as well as being vegetarian can sometimes make eating out difficult! I can’t thank the staff enough - not only did they take the time to listen to what I can eat, they took the time and care to come up with a meal not on the menu to make sure I really enjoyed my dinner. Thank you for not making me feel like I was a problem diner! Will definitely go back again

Had dinner last night for the first time, last minute booking so was in early. Great service and good food. Nice selection with some lovely additional specials. Will definitely be back.

We had a great meal at our favourite restaurant last night and the food was delicious and the service and ambiance of the restaurant are brilliant. This is the best fish restaurant and the food is always outstanding and we recommend it to all our friends. Thank you for a great night.

Highly recommend! I have eaten many times in the restaurant and the food and service have always been excellent, and it did not fail to deliver on this visit either! We loved the tapas style menu, which gives you the opportunity to taste lots of different and unusual dishes. However the ‘special’ and regular menus are still available so lots to choose from. Great restaurant and would highly recommend a visit.

Delicious seafood tapas with an extensive selection. Staff were very welcoming and efficient. Really enjoyable evening and would definitely recommend.

Another lovely meal at Out of the Blue- but and it’s only a small ‘but’ - my friend and I both felt that the new Menu, which is more Tapas style, was not as enjoyable to choose from as the previous Menu. Perhaps a choice of menus would work better. The welcome, food and service was excellent as always.

This is the best food I have eaten in a long time

Had a meal in Saturday, we have eaten in the restaurant many times and have always found the food and service brilliant, a little gem of a restaurant. The new tasting menu however I’m not so sure of, the tasting menu was average at best, we had oysters and dressed crab for starters off their specials board and both were superb but after that not so good. Perhaps moving forward if going down the tapas type route it may be nice to also have a proper menu back as well to choose from. Jacqui and the team great and welcoming as always, atmosphere great. Hate to be negative as Into the Blue has always been one of my favourite restaurants.

It had been a long while since I had visited and I am so glad I ignored reviews as we had the perfect evening. The staff were brilliant and sorted a larger table for us as we had become 5 and I reserved for 4. The food was exceptional with so much choice. I would highly recommend the Lobster Thermidor which was the best I have ever eaten. The choices of side dishes was exciting and we enjoyed the Spiced potatoes which I would love the recipe for. Thank you for a great evening with exceptional food and service.

We had not been to Into the Blue for years but wanted a change and the half hour drive was deemed worthwhile as we had a lovely meal taking the fixed price menu and we very well looked after! All the starters were excellent, especially the red mullet tempura which we added, and by the time we reached the main course we were full. I might have preferred to have a fish option instead of the chicken skewers or ribs but overall we are very happy to have returned! Keep up the great work everyone!
