China Palace – EastbourneSorry to disagree with all the other reviews but today my wife and I ate here I had the steak pie but half the chips with were what I would call chaff and if they were not soft I would call them crisps..My wife had lemon meringue pie the pastry on this was still raw..Told staff at the time but was just told I am sorry sir.The other point is the very slow service arrived 1.30 left 2.57 for a two course lunch.will be no good for any one on their lunch HOUR
The Old Polegate Station – PolegateThis shop holds a Fish and Chip Quality Award from the National Federation of Fish Friers. You can be certain of the high quality food and service to be found in this shop.
Master Fryer – East Grinsteadvisited riviera on Sunday 11 9 11 five of us sat at a spacious table and within 5 mins the waitress was there to take our drinks on her return with drinks she took our food order (their was plenty of choices ) we all had roast dinners which were excellent, will definitely visit again.
Riviera Restaurant – ChichesterThis has to be the best Chinese restaurant and take-away in the whole of Sussex, let alone Hastings. The food is excellent and freshly cooked to order. The staff are friendly and attentive but not intrusive. The whole atmosphere makes for a very happy experience and a relaxed good night out. Very good value and not expensive. I cannot fault the August Moon. Just brilliant.
August Moon – Hastingsthis place has some fine foods to offer just the other week I popped in any had all you can eat for the price of £12.95 not including drinks but the amount of different styles of food on offer is worth a look just on its own so I do recommend Interwok
Interwok – Worthingthis place has gone downhill since my last comments in 2008 , the last 3 times we visited for breakfast the food was pretty grim. We wont be using this cafe again. Shame because it was a great cafe 3 years ago.
Oceanview Bakery – PevenseyFood is always freshly cooked and well worth the wait!!! The best chip shop in the area.
The Fishermans – BexhillI have to say one of the best Indian places I have been to ever! the new refurb is just amazing as is the food! the family who run it are so nice, the son who manages the place is such nice guy, he know to sell you their food and drinks, im booking my Christmas party their this year, its great for private parties!
Little India – HenfieldMe and my family turned up at around 8pm on Friday. 11 of us plus a one year old. The staff could not have helped more. Welcomed us and did everything to make us and the little one comfortable. Go. Get there. Enjoy :) Cheers
Montagues Tex Mex Restaurant – WorthingAny restaurant that can survive for over 20 years with the same owners means it is doing something right. I've used this restaurant for 10 years and it has remained consistently good. My favourite venue for Sunday lunch and one of the few restaurants that cater properly for vegetarians.
Vardar Restaurant – LittlehamptonLovely homemade Italian food and friendly service.
Appia – PulboroughThis is my all time favourite restaurant. The food is outstanding and the equivalent of many starred London restaurants. Why it doesn't have a star baffles me. Service is great - unobtrusive, friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend Cassons to anyone who enjoys dining at it's best.
Cassons Restaurant – ChichesterHave had lunch several times - fabulous food and fabulous service. Looking forward to trying dinner, as I didn't realise dinner was an option!!!! I always try to support local businesses as we need them as much as they need us.
Field and Fork – ChichesterBeen before
The Windmill – Harvester – LittlehamptonA beautiful contemporary restaurant, with an interesting menu. The curry sauce on for the biryiani dish was heavenly! A very nice restaurant
Ashoka Tandoori Restaurant – EastbourneThe place has a new manager and is now looking up,worth a visit.
