What an amazing place - the decor takes your breath away and the atmosphere is just like being on holiday. Check out their website for their list of events - we saw a fab jazz band and danced off all our calories!

This pub is under new management and has had a brilliant make-over. The look of the pub is beautiful with all the exposed beams and brickwork. The decor has seriously improved and is very clean and smart. The staff are very friendly and the service was quick. The food was beyond my expectations. The open plan kitchen gives good viewing to see whats going on, we had our own waitress for our section of the restaurant which gave a personal touch, so your not constantly bothered by lots of different staff, but not forgotten about either. I would thoroughly recommend this pub/restaurant to anyone, and I am looking forward to going back there. 10/10

In spite of the fact that the whole restaurant and nearly all bar tables were full on a Sunday lunchtime the service was amazingly quick and the food good! Will definitely be coming back again.

a quiet, peaceful setting, in an old village pub. The owner and staff are warm and welcoming, and the food is hot, plentiful and very well presented.

One of the nicest local pubs about...go here for 1st class food and service, reasonable prices , good sized portions)....friendly staff and locals....garden(safe) for the kids, sports bar for dad (plenty of live football, darts, pinball, fruities) weekly events such as pub and music quiz also karaoke, poker and bingo nights!!! Great for all ages

the food was absolutely amazing - very tasty - we had takeaway - set meal x2 and a couple of side dishes - all for less than £34 - it fed 2 of us for the equivalent of 4 meals each - fantastic value - highly recommended.

This has to be the best chinese restaurant in Eastbourne, Top quality can't wait to go again.

Been here a couple of times now. Great food and, unsurprisingly, an excellent wine list. Not cheap but worth it.

Will happily forgo meat occasionally to eat here. More expensive than the average veggie restaurant but it isn? an average veggie restaurant. Highly recommended.

Probably the best vegetarian restaurant in the UK (according to The Observer and my girlfriend). Amusingly named dishes so you haven't got a clue what you're ordering. Fortunately everything tastes superb. Have been and will be back often.

For special occasions this is the place to go. When it's busy the place buzzes and the food is to die for. Can alfresco at lunchtime too. Divine.
