It was Friday, so we went for fish! Cod pakora, scallops to start, both very tasty. Sounds boring, but I went for the fish and chips. Best I’ve had! The Dover Sole was perfectly cooked too. Welcomed by all the staff we saw and there was a buzz of enjoyment from all those in the cosy environment. Will go again - and again.

They did recommend 5-7 small plates between 2 people, we went with our daughter and had 7 dishes plus a bowl of chips, and it was too much for us, but we had wanted to try different dishes. All the dishes were very tasty, there was one dish we didn’t particularly enjoy, but that was down to personnel flavour, the dish was still cooked very well.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaFantastic fish dishes! We took a family group of 6 to Into the Blue for a midweek supper and everyone thought the food was excellent. Between us we shared all the small fish and sea food dishes (fabulous variety of flavours, truly fusion) a plate of cod and chips and a steak and chips. The only thing left was a scraping of mackerel pate, which I regret leaving behind! With several soft drinks and a bottle of Vinho Verde, the bill was £220 including service of 10%. And the service was great too, friendly, efficient and relaxed. We’ll be back!

It was the loveliest atmosphere and our waitress was just the nicest girl who made us feel very welcome. My only complaint was that the Thai green curry I ordered wasn’t very spicy, and actually quite bland. I’d overheard a waitress tell another guest that they could customise the spice for the curry, which wasn’t offered to me so that was disappointing. Other than that, it was overall very tasty food!

The Good Grub – EastbourneHad a lovely birthday lunch with my daughter, made a change for her to be able to choose anything from the menu that she wanted, something we have a problem with as there are not many Vegan places to eat, or places to eat that have a very varied Vegan menu. Staff were very friendly and helpful and very welcoming to the dogs as well, we had a nice enjoyable lunch, although the lunch menu could do with a few more options, food was lovely and we will return at some point for dinner.
