Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-Sea5 star
The Good Grub – EastbourneAnother top visit to Good Grub this time with a group of friends from Brighton. Sat outside as the weather was beautiful for a lovely brunch/ lunch. Lots of lovely toasties and avo toast was had by all. Great GF options as well. Dog friendly Maggie the Snoodle got lots of lovely attention and they provided a water bowl. 10/10.
The Good Grub – EastbourneA rare find for delicious fish and seafood! Have dined here a couple of times and have always been impressed with the food. Great atmosphere and friendly staff as well - highly recommended!
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWhat a fabulous place! Thank you for bringing something different to Eastbourne! The service we had was first class. The food was excellent (good menu choice). It was so nice to be able to bring our fur baby and he be treated the same as us! Loved it loved it! Will be back!
The Good Grub – EastbourneTheir food is always terrific, and the dozen light small dishes are packed with original flavours. The portobello nmushroom dish was superb. Sevice is friendly and efficient. Just wish they would open up the front of the restaurant or just let fresh air in. Being an open kitchen in an enclosed space, the atmosphere gets heavy and rather hot which detracts from your overall enjoyment.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaAbsolutely 1st class as always. It’s a real pleasure to go for a genuine treat.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe had a fantastic lunch on Tuesday. Food was excellent especially the scallops with pea fritters. Always a brilliant selection for coeliac. Gluten free fish & chips was amazing. Service as always was spot on. There's always a warm welcome & staff seem happy to be there! Hidden gem & well worth a visit.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaOur disappointment in not having lobster or crab which we had pre ordered, and were not notified and nothing of an apology when it was a Birthday treat….But the sharing menu for two was delicious. The squid and hake were particularly good.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaGreat meal. Fresh oysters and tempura prawns followed by local lobster and choice of veg. All cooked to perfection. Friendly service and owners in attendance. Acoustics poor, can get a bit noisy for quiet chat.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaHad a really lovely meal for my Husband's birthday, never been before, what a fab meal. Will be coming to Into The Blue again soon.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaThe best place for food in Eastbourne!!! Amazing service and food :)
The Good Grub – EastbourneVery nice evening with friends. The food was mostly good. It would be great if there was a few more options for vegetarians. 2 of our group are veggy and shared some tapas style food which was OK but compared to non veggy friends meals it was disappointing. The 4 who had seafood and a meat option could not praise the food enough. Great wine list.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaExcellent food and excellent service
The Good Grub – EastbourneThis was our second visit in as many weeks. We all chose different options from the (limited) menu. (Having said that, I do appreciate that this is a new restaurant, so increasing menu choices will come later). I chose the fish tagliatelle, (which the staff kindly changed to Penne pasta, because I had difficulty using my hand to 'twirl' around on a fork). Regrettably, I was disappointed. There was too much pasta and not enough of the 'fish' substitutes. However, the other members of my family were pleased with, and enjoyed their choices. Thank you for the kind and attentative service though.
The Good Grub – EastbourneThe meal was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed by each and every one of my guests. Coupled with very polite and friendly service, made it a perfect evening to remember. Thank you.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaDivine. Eaten here on several occasions now and never been disappointed! Evening dinner, Sunday lunch or a casual light lunch - all wonderful.
