First time and not disappointed, the food was fresh and very well cooked, and the service excellent. Will come again.

Delightful and warm atmosphere. Staff attentive and knowledgeable about food intolerances. We each had one of these best meals ever - my friend had the crusted cheese sandwiche and has not stopped talking about it since. I was delighted with my gluten free and dairy free lunch - it’s lovely to eat ‘normal’ food. My only down comment was there was an awful lot of food on my plate and unfortunately I do suffer from that old disease - eyes bigger than my tummy! Next time I shall ask for a smaller portion and definitely no chips.

Staff did a remarkable job but were clearly under pressure. More waiting staff at peak times please! Food and coffee excellent as always

Booked a table for lunch after being recommended by a friend. We arrived early but it wasn’t a problem. Staff were friendly even with it being very busy (large table of 11, plus others) chose toasted sandwiches with some chips. All very tasty, and filling. If we were closer we’d definitely come regularly. A good little hidden gem.

A great menu and atmosphere. Our first time visiting but we’re already planning our next visit. We all loved the food and can’t wait to try a new dish next time we’re there. Highly recommend.

My friend and I had a lovely first visit to Olive. Was delighted with such a varied menu. Even more delighted that the staff cared for me as a coeliac disease sufferer. Service was excellent and we will definitely visit again.

Well what alovely evening we had, from the very moment we sat down,all of us said how lovely and comfortable the chairs were, not on top of the other customers lots of space.That was the start of the compliments we shared, the food was great, the staff were fun and very attentive and I was so happy as I wanted it to be special and it was. Thankyou.

Excellent food in this lovely central restaurant in Wells. We were a group of 4 friends and all had a different meal and dessert and were very impressed. Only slight comment is about the lighting... could it be a little softer for the evening? otherwise a really great place to eat in

The food was excellent but I feel I have to mention the service. We asked for water with our food, it didn't arrive, had to ask again plus when we were paying the bill, the staff behind the counter seemed more interested in chatting to each other rather than concentrating on dealing with us and paying. Just didn't feel very professional when you're in a customer service industry.

There is literally no where better to eat in the region. The quality of food, service and the entire experience is phenomenal. If you really want to treat someone to something mind blowingly special this is the place. This is a Bath secret - the place for birthdays, anniversaries or big celebrations. Be sure to book well in advance though! They are rightly very popular
