We were made very welcome on our arrival including my little dog Wilf. On the day we went there was a limited menu due to no chef. We had lovely toasted cheese sandwiches with coleslaw and sweet potato fries. The homemade chai latte was also delicious. We will definitely go back again.

Kiln Workshop – BishopstonThe genuinely lovely, chilled atmosphere and uber friendly and helpful staff combine to create a really fun and relaxing experience. There is loads of pottery to choose from and lots of different paints and tools. The staff are on hand to help you as much as you need but also just let you be. It's a great place to go with friends and there is good coffee and tea at really cheap prices too. I absolutely loved it and have been recommending it to everyone I've spoken to since. Kiln Workshop – BishopstonFirstly, the food was delicious. I brought my mother for her birthday lunch on a cold January day. The restaurant was about half full and having eaten there before and enjoyed it was looking forward to our meal. The restaurant is more or less a tent, very delightful, and we were seated along the front side near the “windows”. The log burner was on and the temperature was initially comfortable. However service was pretty slow and as no one refilled the log burner, the two of us got colder and colder as we waited for our food. Admittedly it was a very cold day, but if attention had been paid to the heater and we had stayed warm, we would have liked to enjoy a cake and a coffee for desert but we were too cold to stay any longer. My mum is normally quite fussy and she thoroughly enjoyed the braised beef while I thought the wrap I had was delightful. It won’t put us off going again in warmer months but a slightly faster service and warmer ambience would make a big difference. Plus, more vegan options, which would be very easy to do with this style of menu, would be a bonus.
