The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsLovely food, great service and a wonderful, relaxing environment. The hot apple drink was especially good. Can’t recommend it enough.
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilFood was really nice, staff were great, helped with my booking which I appreciate as I booked for one less person than I was meant to but staff added the extra person without hesitation. The only thing is we were sat by the door and the staff kept leaving door open so I ate dinner with coat on and had to keep shutting the door, however if I would have mentioned they probably would of moved us. Everything else was great. Thank you.
The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsReally nice food and attentive and friendly service from the staff…. The only thing that needs improving is the temperature of the dining room. Zero outside and less than ten degrees inside…..
The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsWhat a lovely time we all had. It was my daughters 23rd. and my mums 30th plus some. Birthday. It was such a giggle. The staff were fab. So nice. Teas and coffee lovely. And the place smelt wonderful. A great way to spend a couple of hours. Excellent birthday treat.
Kiln Workshop – BishopstonFood delicious as. Usual I enjoy the changing menu. Service a little slow
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilI usually patronise USB with girlfriends for coffee and cake. Always a very pleasant experience. However yesterday we came for lunch. Not an experience I intend to repeat. Our server appeared totally disinterested and unable to understand one of our orders. Service was very slow. The fish and chips were mediocre to say the least. My guests assured me that their food was fine but did remark about the standard of service. So unfortunately you lost out on possible future customers through his actions. Such a shame. Loyal customers are hard to find and every customer is an opportunity for future business.
Union Street Brasserie – YeovilFood was very good , service was extremely good
The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsI booked a table for three yesterday for Sunday lunch as previously been on numerous occasions and had a great meal. Yesterday was a disaster. O e of our group ordered soup then they were having beef and the other two were having small lamb. The waitress asked did he want his soup first to which he said yes. The she brought out his soup and beef dinner and said it my fault I forgot you wanted soup first. She then proceeded to bring the two lambs out. I said you can take the beef back because the meal will get cold . She proceeded to do this. The lamb was very tuf as was the beef after he eventually got it. I will come back again as I have never had a bad meal and can only think it was just a bad day.
Union Street Brasserie – YeovilExcellent ambience and excellent food all brought together by the very friendly staff, been before always very consistent
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilWent for a birthday brunch on my birthday, New Year’s Day and the food was delicious, great service and lovely atmosphere. I have been once before when you opened but will definitely be back to try more of the menu!
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilThe food was amazing, great atmosphere. Excellent service and good value for money- we will be back!
Perdida at Ferne Animal Sanctuary – YeovilI visit Somerset regularly and this is my 4th visit. Always a friendly welcome, excellent attention everytime. Food is creative, interesting and delicious. It was busy and my sister and I trying to sort my mothers hospital appointment, the staff did not rush us and took the time to talk to us. Thank you. The cakes one word yummy... On cold days the warmth of the log burner always welcome. Beautiful local gifts and fruit and veg for sale. One of my favourite places to visit and dogs are allowed. 5⭐️
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilBooked easily online. Arrived but had to ask the coffee server what table we were on. A table was pointed to and she said she would bring menus over. After 10mins still no menus. Asked where I could get one from and she pointed to the rack but I had already been there and the menus were until midday only. Eventually saw a server refill the menus and grabbed 3 for our table. Waited to order or drinks and food. Drink order was wrong and the food came out at least 45 minutes later. People ordered after us and finished their meal by the time ours arrived. We asked twice if our food was coming. We were offered a refill of drinks for free. It wasn't particularly busy and I only saw 3 members of staff working. Our order wasn't complicated. A burger, a sour dough sandwich and a club sandwich. Asked for tomato sauce and mayo and the server only brought mayo. Had to ask again for tomato sauce. When it came to pay they asked if everything was ok, by which time was too late. I had been the week before and everything was great, which is why I thought I would come again. Unfortunately I don't think I'll bother again.
Union Street Brasserie – YeovilIt was an extremely cold night, however there was no discernible heating and the wall of glass meant that the cold air detracted from the evening.
The Olive Tree Restaurant – WellsAs the staff say, we are part of the OG group! There is nothing we can complain about. The Christmas meal was tasty and generous as always… thank you Ashley. The Breakfast Martinis are to die for… thank you Sarah & Fynn. Hostess with the mostest, Jordan… impeccable service
Union Street Brasserie – YeovilThis was our third visit to Olive Kitchen, having really enjoyed the food previously. It was busy, and we were sat close to the kitchen, where it was very noisey, and the floor bounced when the waitresses walked past, which was frequent. I don't know if you were short staffed but there seemed to be a long wait, and we were aware that people at other tables were being asked to leave to make room for others. The food, whilst very tasty, was definitely smaller in portion size than on previous visits. The coffee is always amazing, so maybe it will become a coffee stop rather than booking a table for food in the future.
Olive Kitchen and Bar – YeovilLovely staff, always happy to help and chatty. Great food and lovely service
