Simply excellent!

We spent a quiet Thursday evening at KW 1V in Heydon and had a great meal. The food was very good indeed - one of us had fish and chips, one spare ribs, and one the burger for mains: and we had a blueberry creme brulee and a brownie for dessert. Carol and her team were very welcoming, and the service was friendly without being intrusive. It's a shame that the recent history of the pub, from what we understand from locals, has been somewhat checkered: but Carol seems to have a grasp of things, and we wish her and her team well in building up the business.

Our first visit to the Pheasant. We were more than happy with our choice based on online research to find a convenient and attractive location and venue. We enjoyed an excellent lunch, beautifully cooked and presented ,with friendly and effective service. We plan to return!

We had a lovely birthday lunch at the King William. It's a delightful setting; the pub's interior is intriguing and charming; the service is lovely - and the food was very tasty. We were very well looked after and will definitely return. Thanks for a lovely and very relaxing lunch.

We have been a couple of times and took family members and it has been great. This time not so, no atmosphere very mediocre. My started and main not going to fault but my husband was very disappointed in his steak which was meant to be a 30 day steak which he’s had in the past and at £32 you’d expect something extra. Shame really.

A lovely local pup which has been renovated and has a great out door area and lots of parking. Our meal was delicious, service was prompt and friendly. Nice to have it on our doorstep.
