It just so happens that the night we booked was reserved for a Spanish Evening. There was a set menu with the appetiser consisting of a selection of tapas, the main course with three choices (1) roast belly pork, chorizo, black pudding and butter bean stew (2)red pepper stuffed with artichoke, tomato, olives, herbs and rice and (3) seared tuna loin, with a sauce consisting of olives, capers, pepper and tomatoes. The desert course consisted of (1) creme catalonia con limon (2) Galician almond tart and (3) vanilla ice cream with a Pedro Ximenez sherry. All of the tapas was very nice, for the main course we selected the belly pork and the tuna both of which were delightful. For desert we had the creme catalonia which was nice but I would have preferred more lemon .The Galician almond tart was devive so light. We thoroughly enjoyed our mean and will definitely make further visits to The Pheasant.
