Sadly the cod and chips was served with undercooked chips. No excuse was offered when the server collected my plate with half the chips left .

Great food & relaxed atmosphere. Excellent service. Only downside is the noise! When full the chatter is very loud. A few soft furnishings?

Afternoon tea with my daughter, excellent service and the sandwiches and cakes were delicious. lovely atmosphere and attention to detail would recommend.

We experienced a great service, very helpful staff - we weren't able to visit to use our afternoon tea gift voucher but they were able to offer a takeout service . Lovely fresh food, very much enjoyed.

Went here for Sunday lunch as we stay in cardigan for the night. We were not disappointed. This had to be the nicest Sunday dinner me and my wife have ever had. Absolutely delicious food

Although local to the area, this was my first time visiting The Copper Pot. I have special dietary needs that have in the past made eating out awkward. But everything was handled so confidently and the staff/chef were so accommodating about cooking my food to order, I was impressed. Everyone's food was excellent and beautifully presented, and the atmosphere was relaxed. I will definitely recommend this place and happily come back again soon.

Absolutely delicious dinner in the Cellar Bar. We sat at a table near the wood burning stove which was lovely as the temperature outside was freezing. We would definitely go again as in addition to the wonderful food, the people were all so friendly and service was great. Our first time in the Cellar Bar as when visiting Newport during the summer we always eat outside in the Secret Garden where the food is always delicious.

Found this gem of a restaurant whilst on holiday, food was delicious, my husband had the ribs and I had the Mongolian crispy chicken. Best ribs ever and the dishes were beautifully presented! Wish we lived closer so we could return! Keep doing what ever you are doing, great service as well!

Dined with a friend on Tuesday the 4th of Feb 2025. Lovely service as always. The two staff who served were attentive and professional, and very sweet. Food was gorgeous as always, we are regulars at The Copper Pot and will continue to be for the future.

We had amazing food. An extremely lovely evening among friends until the end. Service was good until the end. We spent a lot of money on the food & drinks and left a decent tip. Unfortunately our taxi was arriving for 15mins. The atmosphere changed dramatically. We were made to feel very uncomfortable, with extreme banging, noises etc of clearing up as well as the cold blockage against us. It spoilt a lovely evening with friends.

We brought friends to dine at Llys Meddyg on 1st Feb as a thank-you treat. It was the first dining experience at the hotel for all of us (we all live about 30 minutes away) and we were not disappointed. The only tiny hiccup was that we asked to change table as the original position close to the garden doors felt rather draughty. Although the restaurant was going to be pretty full later, we were immediately moved and all was well. Everything we ordered was delicious. The welcome and service overall was warm, relaxed and friendly. It was a delightful evening which we rounded off with drinks in the Cellar Bar. Thanks to Llys Meddyg for a special evening. We will all be back!

Our first visit to Sailors Safety under new ownwrship - absolutely delightful in every way! The decor, ambience, staff and food were all superb. Faultless and delicious- what more could you ask!!!! Fish stew and crab linguine both extremely fresh & tasty, viognier to accompany also perfect.

Fabulous in all ways! Lovely staff, enjoyed a very nice Viognier with our delicious seafood. The whole experience was great and will be back. Would recommend booking, which thankfully we did, as it was very busy, even at the start of February!
