(Mid-July 2024 - Lunch) Booked a table at the Copper Pot for a family of 4 while in Cardigan and was very pleasantly surprised by the food and atmosphere. The setting is rather intimate & comfortable, staff members are great hosts (very friendly & helpful), food is tasty and rich in flavour. We had the Southern Fried Chicken Tenders, Cheese & Garlic Ciabatta, Dark Chocolate Torte, and Filthy Fries (which are not even on the menu anymore, but the guys were lovely and said they could do it if we wanted to try them). For every item on the menu that we weren't sure about, they patiently provided information to help us decide whether to go for it or not. Lovely experience overall & Would definitely come again!

Return visit to this great restaurant. Small menu means it's all cooked there and to order. We had nachos to share which were devious. We then had two steaks - superb quality and cooking. Great staff and a lovely meal. Recommend booking as it is very popular.

We came as a table of 2 for my wedding anniversary It was nothing less of amazing! Fast and friendly service. One of the best meals we’ve had and definitely the best in Ceredigion. We will 100% be back and recommend anyone to try this place if you’re looking for something different than the average pub food. Thank you very much

Once again, a very enjoyable meal at our favourite restaurant. Meal and service was second to none. Nok is a superb chef, and Julian the perfect host.

Lovely evening in the garden. Such a great idea. Love the planting and the fire pits and Pushka's clothes! Staff great, food excellent. Will definitely be back.

Brilliant food and service!!

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Could not fault it from the interesting interior design to the lovely waitresses. They were really busy on both nights that we ate there - but they managed the service extremely well. The food is the best I've had in a long time . We did the 3 course menu with accompanying wine. It was all delicious, the starters of crab, leek, then the Welsh lamb main course and the desserts, the treacle tart to die for and the lemon custard. The second night I had the sea bass and my husband had the beef - totally delicious. We shared the strawberry bavarois. It's rare that you have a meat out and can not find anything you would change. Also the prices compared to many restaurants these days are really good value. The wine was also excellent. You will not be disappointed!

Lovely Fathers Day treat. Everything was excellent. Food was lovely and plenty of it. Had to take the generous portion of cake home with us. As it was a present, can't comment on value for money. Really nice place with relaxing music playing in the background. All round lovely experience. Would recommend.

Our yearly visit to Llys Meddyg restaurant did not disappoint. It was an exciting menu that made choosing hard. I had the crab starter that was prettily finished with delicate flowers but the addition of chilli packed a punch. My husband chose the cucumber which he enjoyed especially with an additional serving of delicious sour dough bread & salty, creamy butter. The mains - lamb & beef dishes complemented with buttery Welsh new potatoes, chargrilled broccoli & sweet carrots were skilfully constructed & seasoned perfectly. My husband had the treacle pudding with the desert wine & was very happy ( although he would have liked a larger portion of ice cream - a personal preference). All in all an exquisite, accomplished meal in relaxed surroundings. Very well done to all the staff - we will be back.

Excellent meal food was really good We opted for garden pod we were not disappointed There was a wide range of wine and cocktails All the staff were pleasant and welcoming would highly recommend

Had the afternoon tea for 2. Delicious sandwiches and cakes. Service excellent and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

Booked for Sunday lunch. Food was excellent. Really flavoursome and cooked to perfection. We both had the roast Welsh beef. Great atmosphere and dining options to suit different types of groups. Highly recommended.

Great gluten free afternoon tea and were very reassuring on cross-contamination- great for people with coeliac disease!
