Pettigrew Tea Rooms – CardiffI booked my Greek friends in here for a couple of days and they were delighted. It's quirky and friendly and thefood is delicious
Llys Meddyg Pembrokeshire – NewportTerrible service, food came at different times, forgot 2 dishes!! Nobody came to check on us.. Overpriced pretentious crap! Plaice was tasteless.. they only offered 1 desert as compensation !! This was our second time! Just bad food !! Emperors new clothes personified!
Llys Meddyg Pembrokeshire – NewportGreat value for money all round. Service was excellent-explained all we needed to know but not overbearing. It was quite busy whilst we were there, but it was a great atmosphere & not too loud. Every element of the afternoon tea was flavoursome & the portions were generous & overall very filling. Would definitely return.
Pettigrew Tea Rooms – CardiffSuperb meal prior to visiting Chapter Arts Theatre. Great menu choices superb friendly service and lovely ambience. Highly recommended
Bangkok Cafe – CardiffHad early table at Llys Meddyg, Great food, very compatible wine pairings and excellent, thoughtfull service . Be back soon Ed.
Llys Meddyg Pembrokeshire – NewportAttentive service and a fulfilling delicious meal. Second visit and didn’t disappoint. Recommend.
Happy Lok – CardiffBeautiful food. It's a small menu with something to suit everyone which is uncommon these days. We've never had a bad meal, even the kids rave about it. Though they're on the steak now which is proving to be expensive, a kids option wouldn't go amiss but I get it, especially with the quality you get here. The peppercorn sauce cant go without a mention m, it's the best. The service is always fab & friendly. We visit often and intend to keep doing so.
The Copper Pot – CardiganOur very first tea time ever - and a real success. I expected Scones to be different and not so soft and fluffy. Staff was great and helpful to German tourists. Sandwiches so good as I never had them before. Fresh and hand-made. And at the end, another piece of cake as a farewell present. A great experience!
Pettigrew Tea Rooms – CardiffFriends and I had a lovely evening at Nok Noks... my 3rd visit in 2 months... and it was another success :). The food is delicious & the service is great. I hope to be back again soon.
Nok Nok Mumbles – SwanseaMe and my partner went here for our anniversary for cream tea. Could not have felt more special and happy. I am gluten free and always enjoy their gorgeous scones! A great serving size for great value. The service as usual was amazing, they always make me feel so safe with my allergy and so welcome. Would highly recommend to anyone who is able to go! Such a beautiful place to eat, with delicious food and amazing staff.
Pettigrew Tea Rooms – CardiffHad my 55th birthday afternoon tea here yesterday. Food was lovely. A bit disappointing that they closed an hour and half earlier than there closing time. Which only gave us an hour to eat our food. A bit rushed. They didn’t have single cream to go with the cakes and the scones were a little dry. Wasn’t quite the afternoon tea I was expecting for my birthday. Considering it cost £25 each.
Pettigrew Tea Rooms – CardiffMy partner and myself were made to feel very welcome and the food was amazing. The staff were friendly and the server was very attentive and helpful. Will definitely recommend afternoon tea at this gem of a location within the castle walls. Will definitely return.
Pettigrew Tea Rooms – CardiffWe had a lovely meal at the Copper Pot on Monday with my brother and sister-in-law. Nadia is a vegan and really enjoyed her vegan choice. My brother had their superb burger, my husband had the flat iron steak and I had the last of their Tempura cod. fantastic! We had the best Eton Mess for dessert and it was the best one I have EVER had (and I have had quite a few at 74!) Excellent service too. Can't wait to go again.
The Copper Pot – Cardigan燒鴨實在燒得好味非常,皮脆肉嫩油汁香,我們都大快朵頤,吃得十分開心。
Happy Lok – CardiffGreat authentic Tai food….fish cakes lovely with just the right amount of bite…& the duck spring rolls were great too. Would recommend both the Chicken Green curry & Prawn Massaman curry. We’re blessed to have such a genuine Tai option in Aberaeron.
Nok Nok Mumbles – SwanseaWe really enjoyed our meal, it was delicious. We were quite surprised when we arrived, the restaurant was situated in like a lounge area of the bar for the yacht club, was like eating in a pub. We were also surprised that we had to pay £2 to eat there as we were not members. This was not mentioned when I booked it. I booked this meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary and didn't find it romantic like a usual Thai restaurant would be. Nevertheless, we both really enjoyed our food and the waitress was lovely, we were just taken back by the venue. We are not from the area so perhaps this should be made clear when taking reservations.
