The service was quick, and the waitress very friendly. However the food was overpriced, poor portion size, and very bad options for dairy free/vegan/vegetarian dietary requirements. Food tasted good but left hungry and disappointed

We visited Sailors' Safety on a Saturday evening. The atmosphere was lively, friendly and cosy with a good mix of customers both in the bar area and the restaurant. The service was a little chaotic but the place is new and it didn't detract overall. In fact, it sort of added to the family, local, independent vibe. We tried a number of items on the menu, with the highlights being the Leek and cheese croquettes, the crab linguine and the sea bass with tomato and chorizo ragu. Simple but delicious desserts followed by exceptional coffee. We ended our visit with a drink around an open fire in the garden listening the sea rolling up the beach.

We had a family reunion dinner at the newly reopened Sailors Safety, it was nothing less than spectacular. Stylish but cosy interiors, great service and truly amazing food . The seafood was fresh and fabulous, crab& lobster appetiser then sea bass with chorizo, crab linguine, etc , everyone was raving about it and cannot wait to come back

Fantastic food & flavours. Excellent service, we really enjoyed our evening. We have visited multiple Thai restaurants in Cardiff & we were really impressed with Nok Nok. Also great value for money, will definitely recommend and return. Thank you!

Much improved service from last year. Lovely food, a real gem when staffed properly.

The service was outstanding, a lovely, attentive waitress who was very helpful with food suggestions. The platter for 3 was delicious, some lovely touches with pomegranate seeds, sliced mango and other fruits for decoration. The mains were very tasty, we had the chilli masala salmon, green curry and the chicken pad krakow. All delicious and more-sh finished with banana fritters and ice-cream. I'd highly recommend eating here - with wonderful views of Aberaeron harbour.

We visited The Copper Pot as a group of 6 (4 of us from England) whilst visiting my father, who lives near Cardigan. My father had heard the food was very good, but it surpassed expectations! We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the staff were friendly and attentive. Only criticism would be only three desserts to choose from. I'm sure my father will return sometime in the near future!

A lovely location and fantastic set up for a dinning experience a few negatives to run through as well Upon arriving I had made a mistake with my booking forgetting to mention I have a dog I aimed to go for the garden experience anyways so was happy that I was accommodated for this and I appreciate that there was a mix up with this but for the first 15 mins me and my partner felt very uncomfortable as they would not let go the fact I forgot to mention this even though they had sorted a table for us and it seemed like it wasn’t a problem there was undertones that it was The huts are great love the vibe but they do need to be cleaned more often cobwebs in all corners (not many people like spiders) I’m not bothered personally loved the comfy feel of them and the heat lamps helped massively Server was great knew her stuff needs to be a bit more interactive with guest felt she was just there to take an order no how was your day…Talking about the fact the food comes from the garden etc The food I have been a chef for 16 years been to a lot of places tried a lot of food…it was good can tell they go the extra mile for quality and what they serve they really care about what work flavours wise and are not afraid to be adventurous with the combos but also some of the dishes were flat not much to them in sense of flavour Just felt like the chef was making dishes but never trying the actual finished product not to slate the methods and how of cooking the things because everything was cooked to perfection just the execution needs to be tuned ie was is everything have herb green oils they add nothing to the dish just colour Overall it was a good experience and me and my partner both left smiling and was happy but for the price you are paying I would expect more from the food get a sense you are paying for the novelty of the garden and all the extras

Lovely food but possibly an over expansion means it’s lost its charm. We have stayed and eaten here in the past and loved it but this time we sat in one of the newer pods which felt a bit grungy and lacking in atmosphere. The torrential rain didn’t help, but on looking in the restaurant it would also have been cold as doors are open on both sides. The sourdough was very expensive and the tomato cucumber starter also but the mains were delicious and a good size. We would probably come to the bar on a warmer evening but would hesitate to eat here for a while.

As always a fabulous meal! Great service too. I just wish they made their espresso martini cocktail with Kahlua instead of Tia Maria but that's a small thing. The Pornstar martini was a good substitute!! Thanks again for never disappointing. Victoria

Lovely place for a top quality meal. We’ve been twice now and both times the food was outstanding. It’s not cheap - and for its location a tad too much (think London prices!) but the quality and execution makes for a special meal. I think this year they have introduced a children’s menus which is a good build, especially for fussy young kids. Wine list is mid sized and perfectly formed. Will be back next year!

We had mostly a lovely meal with excellent service. We loved the pickled veg to nibble but would have preferred bread rather than toast with them. The crab starter was small but tasty. The hake main course was delicious, but the new potatoes were served in a tasteless white sauce…..not good! I looked forward to my favourite frangipani tart and when it arrived it was so hard and burnt it was impossible to eat, our waitress was superb and replaced it with a fail safe pana cotta. I think a litttle quality control before sending food out would be the way forward please, Llys Meddaig

Spur of the moment booking for four of us with our 4 dogs. We loved the pods in the garden, great location to sit and relax. It was hard to choose from the menu as so good but very expensive! Our waitress was lovely and friendly too. We will be returning

Pleasant experience last evening with good weather which made the outdoor pod dining great. Lovely starters of smoked duck and mackerel for myself. Mains of lamb a bit disappointing for the price, were advised to add a side which was tasty but lacked the presentation of the rest of the food. At £28 for the main I would have expected something else on the plate. Dessert tasty but a bit misleading as it said meringue with toasted peach and clotted cream ice cream. Expected a hard type meringue but there was just a bit of soft piped meringue on the side which made £8.50 for 1/2 a peach a bit pricey. All very tasty but we felt it wasn’t quite an experience that warranted the cost.
