The Copper Pot – Cardiganlovely meal steak was stunning, and great wine also!
The Copper Pot – CardiganWhy no chips?! New potatoes smothered in a creamy chive sauce are on the dull side. Too many dishes covered in creamy sauces ie the broccoli and the salad . The frangipani tart was bland and spongy. The chickpeas roasted in the salad were a nice addition but the salad was uneventful. We enjoyed the fish but overall felt, disappointingly this time, that the food was nothing special. Lovely waitresses.
Llys Meddyg Pembrokeshire – NewportHaving booked a special afternoon tea for me and my grown up daughter we pitched up an hour early but we’re still able to be served rather than having to wait. All was presented on adorable mismatched china and looked lovely. Sandwiches were amazing & the very best bit. Scones were a disappointment as they were too dry but we asked for extra cream which was served graciously. Great waitress
Pettigrew Tea Rooms – CardiffWe booked for vegan afternoon tea and well, WOW! It was both delicious and lots of it. Couldn’t fault a thing! We were late due to an event in Cardiff which changed our parking plans but they were absolutely fine with it. Bought the cake home as it was just too much…lime and coconut cake! Was absolutely delicious! I could eat the whole slab! Delicious and highly recommend
Pettigrew Tea Rooms – CardiffAmazing food . The steak is perfectly cooked . Realy nice staff . And amazing cocktails . Will go again .
The Copper Pot – CardiganAttentive and courteous staff, fast service and delicious food. We had the green curry and the massaman, both were perfectly spiced with lots of wonderful taste. The starters and dessert were also really tasty. Background music was soothing and tasteful and just the right volume. We will definitely return soon
Nok Nok Mumbles – SwanseaBrilliant atmosphere, excellent food* and great recommendations on accompanying wine. The pre dinner drinks of expresso martini was very enjoyable so were the nibbles of mixed pickles. The starters of Beef fillet and smoked Duck melted in your mouth and the whole Plaice and Lamb mains were superb as were the vegetable sides. *They did not get 5 stars for their food as their choice of dessert cheese was very disappointing (Gorwyth Caerphilly). Two lumps of the same dried cheese for £12.50 was a big disappointment. It was not the cost but the fact the cheese itself was below average and having two lumps of the same thing was an insult. On a more positive note visitors should check out the pods and open fireplace in the back garden for a very relaxing post dinner drink and excellent atmosphere. I would try the restaurant again, but recommend that they look at their dessert menu.
Llys Meddyg Pembrokeshire – NewportMy partner and I visited The Copper Pot twice in two nights; we loved it that much the first time. The food is amazing, and the service is excellent. We had different food both nights, and without fail, it was all delicious.
The Copper Pot – CardiganGood food. Very cold in the main restaurant with all doors open. Food should have been served on warmed plates as it was cold on arrival.

The Copper Pot – CardiganSuper service, excellent food, perfect atmosphere
Llys Meddyg Pembrokeshire – NewportOur 2nd visit to the “secret garden” and didn’t disappoint. We love the unique pods and our furry family member being able to join us. The food was excellent well prepared, tasty and presented in a manner that means you just can’t wait to taste it. Whilst the secret garden looked very busy the service was superb and ensured that our experience was as we remembered from our previous visit. We will certainly be visiting again in 2025.
Llys Meddyg Pembrokeshire – NewportOnce again a lovely meal. The tempura prawns where not as good as the ones they used to do as they had too much batter. The prawns themselves were delicious. The salmon meal was superb . Salmon tender with tasty sauce and vegetables. The flat iron steak was was tender and tasty. But no sizzle .maybe the serving platter needed to be hotter. But nice evening and staff great
The Copper Pot – CardiganBeautiful. Would have been enjoyed moreso if my son behaved. However, the salmon was as fresh as what we get from the fishmonger in Carlingford, Ireland. Was just delicious. My good child thoroughly enjoyed her goujons and also ate my sons. I would return once we can behave in a civilised manner. Thank you.
The Copper Pot – CardiganWe took friends from Netherlands to experience a Pettigrews afternoon tea. We all loved it. Service great food great, value for money brilliant. They will return for certain.
