We were delighted with our afternoon tea at Pettigrew. They were able to accommodate us, even though we arrived an hour earlier than our booking. The tea was lovely (lots of choice) and the sandwiches, scones and sweets were generous (too much to eat in one sitting - we took some home). Thank-you for a lovely afternoon in a beautiful location.

We decided rather spontaneously to reserve a table at Pettigrew Tea Rooms and we were pleasantly surprised to find that they even gave us a table where we could have our dog with us. The service was splendid and friendly. And the establishment is very cozy. The food was very good! Though I enjoyed the Bara Brith I have to admit that it was a tad too sweet for me. The scones were super delicious and the sandwiches as well. The tea was superb, too! I definitely recommend going there and trying it out for yourself!

I booked a surprise birthday meal for my husband at Llys Meddyg. There were 17 of us including 4 children and a baby. We pre-booked our meals due to the size of the party and were able to set up one of the pods in the garden with bunting etc. I can honestly say that I have never felt so looked after by a team of people in a restaurant/ hotel, the staff were professional, polite, courteous, kind and so friendly. Service was outstanding and the food was breathtakingly excellent, beautifully presented and mouth-wateringly delicious. All the wows! Huge compliments to the chefs, waiting and bar staff and the whole team for making the evening one we will never forget. We all had full hearts and happy bellies! Between us we booked three rooms including a family room, they were all immaculately decorated with gorgeous bold colours and artwork, the attention to detail is striking. We all loved the set up and the layout- the cellar bar (Yasss Quinn the cocktail genius and entertainer who had the children mesmerised!) I wish we had had more time to explore the beautiful wines for sale in the wine room, but we will next time! Breakfast the next morning was perfect, outstanding service again, thank you to the chefs who went the extra mile for us. The decor in the restaurant is inspirational, needless to say we are planning our live moss walls! Thank you to everyone at Llys Meddyg for the fantastic experience, we can’t wait to come back.

Service and place were great. So was the tea, but unfortunately scones were dry, tasteless and not crispy.

Our favourite place in Wales to eat. Took a few visiting friends there for lunch and they loved everything about it. Amazing food, lovely staff, beautiful green surroundings and dog friendly! A very special place.

We been going to this restaurant for many years. We have a static van in Trevayne. I have never had a bad meal there. And the salad that's served with the meal .is always fresh. Other restaurant in Saundersfoot do not meet they standards.

Wow - what an afternoon tea! Loved that you could choose the sandwiches you had and the cake / sweet treat at the end. The seeded bread was delicious! And the fudge - the best fudge I’ve ever tasted!! Would highly recommend.

Fantastic food. The best we have eaten in a long time. Making great and surprising use of familiar ingredients. If we return to Pembrokeshire we will certainly come back to this restaurant

Always enjoy visiting the Rhiwderin. Pleasant atmosphere and fabulous food. Really enjoyed our Sunday roast dinner. Staff exceptionally courteous. Has always had a good reputation and continues to deserve one.

Visited Pettigrew Tea Rooms for the first time before visiting Cardiff Castle and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Our party consisted of 5 adults and 3 members of our party had dietary requirements which were catered for ( a vegetarian, a person with a nut allergy and a person who follows a gluten free diet). The customer service we received throughout our visiting was superb. Good selection of pastries, sandwiches and cakes on the menu to choose from. We had a selection of savoury and sweet items and every item was delicious and nicely presented. Next time we are visiting Cardiff we will definitely return to Pettigrews Tea Rooms and will recommend family and friends to visit too.

I absolutely love the afternoon tea sessions here! We are strictly gluten free and dairy free, and they always accommodate for our needs. Never had any issues so far. From cakes to sandwiches, all delicious and good value for the money as well. Staff are very friendly too. We love it!

Hostess was very attentive. Food took longer than I would have wanted (apparently a large party were in) but once delivered to the table, it was excellent. Requests for additional gravy and some additional meat on one plate that was short served were dealt with quickly, along with one guest missing roast potatoes. I would definitely go again and will be recommending to others.

Enjoyed a short break with our son and dog in tow. Slightly disappointed that our room was in need of a make over, tatty in places, but clean and large. Bed was very comfortable indeed. Food was outstanding and barman Quinn a real asset to the place, talented and very affable. Son’s room had had a make over and was nicely done and comfortable, but had poor internet/ phone signal. Would stay again.
