Lovely food and lots of it! Fantastic service - so friendly and helpful. Came here with two teenagers who both cleared their plates! Could not rate more highly.

We went for the first time to the place for Sunday Lunch on Easter Sunday. I thought it might be useful to you if I gave you a review of our experience. We found the decor of the place pleasant and inviting. Someone came to the desk straight away to greet us and take us to our booked table. There were only two other tables with people already seated. The place filled up later. The waiting staff were very pleasant. We had to wait a long time for each course. The food was excellent, when it finally arrived. We didn't feel it was the fault of the person waiting on our table so we left a tip in appreciation of her service. I do appreciate that a lack of staff is a problem since Covid but there appeared to be 4 people in the kitchen area, which seemed to be the cause of the delay. There seemed to be some sort of problem with the organisation of things. We hope this is helpful as we would like to return, the food is indeed very good, the chocolate egg creation was delicious!

Outstanding meal with great service - a real find and will definitely come back ! We stayed 2 night s and dined , one night in the cosy Cellar Bar and the second night in the outdoor pods which were lovely - & dog friendly! The service was very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious .

We've eaten 3 times in the last 3 years. Last night was just fantastic as always. Great potions, great service. 5 star. See again in May. Cheers .

Excellent meal, especially the main course. 2 of us had lamb, 2 had pork. We went for all the side dishes as well. So tasty. Good service, plenty of time between courses so it didn’t feel hurried. A great catch up evening with old friends.

Excellent all round

Had to try one of the pods and we were accommodated even in the wind and rain. The pod was cosy and warm with the overhead heater. Great service and the food was outstanding, some of the best we’ve ever had. Will definitely return when in the area and would highly recommend to others.

A wonderful Saturday evening meal for two . Wonderfully fresh food , well good and presented . I had the special salmon dish which was delicious . So glad we live close enough to enjoy this regularly!
