Didn’t enjoy it at all. We as a family of 4 went back here when the new owners took over and the food was beautiful and home made at the beginning. The food was all fresh and we went back a few more times. We went yesterday 11/02/24 and the food was cold. We as adults had starters and they brought out the kids food with our starters which we were not asked if this is what we wanted. One of the dinners were cold. Our food came out and we ordered pigs in blankets as a side. Again these used to be homemade with a honey glazed sauce. Yesterday these just looked like bought ones and shoved in a dish no sauce just very plain frozen pigs in blanket. Our main food was cold. Gravy was like water. Disappointing as it was lovely at the beginning and we were pleased to get a table. We won’t be going back. Also there was a party of 20 out in the conservatory which was fine but I noticed the lady who is running the restaurant was shaking her head at the table from the bar which I found very unprofessional. If there is an issue deal with it don’t make it known to others.

Great Sunday lunch yesterday- had 2 courses with wine (for 2) £60 well worth it, with attentive service….

Food was beautiful and came really quick, staff were really friendly too, I'm gluten intolerance and they catered for that, they have a lot of food that is gluten free, which normally I can't find anywhere 10/10

This was our first visit to the tearoom for a few years. It was on a rugby day and it was busy of course. We were not disappointed. We thought the meal was really great and the service was fab. We would recommend this for sure Next time we will try and book the afternoon tea!

Revisited for popcorn cockles didn't disappoint. Would recommend to give try for overall menu to suit all palates

Our first time at the Bangkok Cafe will not be our last. Food was lovely. Loads of variety. Good quality at a reasonable price. Service was excellent. The only negative was my friends wife wasn’t keen on the house white wine. Hardly a deal breaker. We will be going back.

Lovely relaxed evening with friends. The Thei food is delicious and probably some of the best in Cardiff.

Booked in advance and was greeted upon arrival by very friendly staff. Service was excellent, as was the quality of the meals we had. Garlic mushroom starters were wonderful. Steaks cooked as requested and food and plate piping hot. Will definitely be returning.

Third visit - was just as good as we’d remembered. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, vast menu, delicious food, yummy cocktails, friendly service. Would happily recommend

Excellent Afternoon Tea for myself and my daughter in law.

Very good afternoon tea in such pleasant surroundings. Smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwiches highly recommended.

Myself and 3 friends enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea, very tasty sandwiches, scones with jam and cream and a great variety of cake plus a great variety of teas to choose from. Great Service, can’t wait to go again. This was our second visit.

We went to Kookaba on a Monday evening for my son's birthday. We live locally but rarely venture out for food on a Monday evening (I don't really know why) The restaurant was busy, with a great atmosphere. Our meals were all excellent. Special mention for the Wagga Wagga! Service was friendly and efficient.

Visited the Kookaba on Sat 20th Jan for a family meal excellent from start to finish . Welcome /Food / Location was Quality . We had a variety of food from Fish Platter / Triple Burger / Steak/ Childs meals everything was well cooked and plentiful / desserts were class large and varied, will definitley be going again. Thank you see you soon

Had a lovely afternoon. Food and service were lovely. Even my sister ate the lot and she’s very fussy.
