Fantastic service and amazing food. I would recommend the stuffed chicken, veg and roast potatoes. It was divine! I love Mezzaluna it’s definitely my favourite Italian in Carlisle.

We both had a lovely meal. Traditional food really tasty and at a good price. Friendly and welcoming.

After hearing good reports about the Greyhound 3 of us decided to give it a go last night but 2 of us were disappointed, the garlic mushrooms had no garlic and the medium rare steak was almost well done. I have to say the host was friendly but the service was slow. Not sure I would return as there are so many places to choose from.

The evening didn't start well, the reason we chose the pub was for the DRY cider but this had been changed why I've no idea. We also went there for the steaks but they weren't on the menu so had a starter only! The other meals one was cold and was heated up in microwave too much so outside was burnt. The 3rd meal was ok I know dogs are allowed but the next table was feeding their dogs the food they had been served not sure why If you go out for a meal then last thing you want is 2 screaming kids so no family room

Really enjoyed our lunch visit to La Mezzaluna. Bright seats by the window or more cosy feeling seats further back. We booked here because it was one of the few places that stays open during the afternoon as opposed to many other places which close after lunch and re-open later! We had three courses and a nice bottle of prosecco which was served in the most gorgeous glass I have ever drank prosecco from! Its the little things that count! The food was gorgeous - Tiramisu was fantastic. Staff so friendly and cheery and I would highly recommend it!

Another fab meal. A lovely warm welcome on arrival & drinks order taken & brought quickly. The meals were piping hot & very tasty! The cheesecake was really delicious too! A fantastic meal in a lovely setting with very reasonable prices ! Thankyou :)

Great pub food. Home style meals. Friendly host. Quick service. Quiet when we went, just a few customers. Off the beaten track Convenient if you are staying at the Crossroads B and B.

If you want a piping hot, tasty Sunday lunch this is the place for you. Honestly, if we lived closer we wouldn’t bother ever cooking Sunday lunch again. We would just pop into the Greyhound Inn. The manager and staff were just lovely and it’s very dog friendly. We loved it here.

Meal was lovely, staff were great, atmosphere was really good. A really nice place to go for an authentic Italian meal.

The staff are friendly but professional and attentive. We were served quickly & efficiently and The Food was exceptional.

Went yesterday evening for dinner, booking is recommended as it gets quite busy. Welcoming pleasant staff, table was ready on arrival. Food and drinks are reasonably priced and of excellent quality too. Starters dinner desserts and beer and wine for 2, £79. Will definitely be back soon. A hidden gem of a restaurant and would recommend to visit if in Carlisle too.
