Had a lovely lunch here during a day trip to Carlisle. We had booked ahead, and were glad we did as the place was busy! This is clearly popular with the locals. The food was amazing - we had the risotto pollo and fusilli calabrese. We also shared a dessert. Wow. Gorgeous!! We will certainly return here - and bring friends who share our love of good food. Staff were friendly and fun. Service was quick but not rushed.

Went for early evening meal with grandchildren, lovely meal and fab service made to feel very welcome and the waitress was lovely with the children, would highly recommend

Thoroughly enjoyed Mezzaluna, excellent service and wonderful food. Would recommend for all. Lovely place to eat and always welcoming.

Our food was amazing, the staff were so friendly and polite. The only issue we had was a large group of people were that noisy, myself and husband couldn't here ourselves talk, neither could other guests. They were that loud I didn't realise there was music playing. We would have ordered dessert but it was way to loud. I understand people come out to have a good time and a laugh. But they were that loud it was unbearable to stay.

Me and a friend visited La Mezzaluna on 8th July 2022. We were staying in Carlisle the night before a bike ride from Bowness on Solway to Sunderland in a day. We needed a good hearty meal and the chance to relax before a huge event. We got that and MORE! The food was delicious, I had bread and olives followed by Fusili Campagnola (there is a cycling reference) my friend had Funghi Ripieni followed by Pollo Mezzaluna. The welcome was really warm, but not overpowering. The staff were brilliant, it was a really relaxing evening, they explained everything we needed to know. I had a bottle of red that really complemented the beef and my pal had a pint and a half of Perroni. If you are visiting Carlisle I can readily recommend this lovely little restaurant. There was absolutely no downside.

Very very friendly staff and lovely food We had chicken Jalfrezi and Chicken in mushroom cream sauce. Both absolutely delicious. I will say the same for the Tyrill beers too. I had the Golden Ale and was invited to try the Stout. Excellent and had to have one to follow. Well recommended. Great community pub.

Had lunch with friends on Thursday. The food was lovely and staff were so friendly. Come here quite often and its one of our favorite places to eat. Well dine all.

I can honestly say the only “fault” with this restaurant is that they are not charging enough! The food was delicious and extremely fair priced! best Italian in Carlisle I couldn’t recommend this enough if you’re visiting or fancying a meal out! The staff were extremely helpful and even entertained my child and kept her busy! The food was fresh and brought quickly, will definitely be returning! Thanks for a lovely experience guys! Xx

What a lovely welcome, and a perfect meal, Lasagne and Mixed Grill. Follow by treacle sponge and chocolate pudding, will most definitely visit again thank you

Very friendly staff, very tasty food served quickly. They were fantastic with our dog even bringing her treats. There was a singer/comedian on the night we visited which was a great addition to the experience. Would recommend and will visit again.

We love eating at la mezzaluna food is delicious piping hot and cooked to perfection the service is amazing as are all the staff best restaurant in Carlisle and so inexpensive and please make sure you try a bottle of house red lovely bottle of wine thanks once again for fabulous meal will see you soon

Love this place ! Every time we are here the food is delicious, service very quick, staff are amazing. With a hand on my heart I can recommend this place to everyone!
