Reviews in Carlisle

Exceptional food, staff were 5* . Had a table booked for a hen party of 10. Kindly decorated the table with the accessories dropped off earlier in the day. The girls all Ioved their food. Is the only place I go for a meal when im visiting Carlisle. Highly recommend.

An excellent restaurant recommended by a friend - the service, the food and the choice were all fantastic and I highly recommend. My only constructive point would be upstairs room has nothing to absorb sound, so it was very loud. Even some curtains would help absorb some of the sound. Wouldn't stop me going back again though as it really was excellent.

There was 12 of us that ate here on Friday, fantastic food and the service was great too! Thank you

Was visiting from London and was given Mezzaluna as a recommendation. Meal booked before train journey back. All 5 of us really enjoyed our meals and the puddings were amazing all food beautifully presented with good sized portions. Staff were attentive and the atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. We've a caravan at Haltwhistle and will definitely come again.

Fantastic food, Fantastic staff Atmosphere always lovely!

Great service the food was good I loved the sorbet. I booked for my wife's 40th everything went to plan. We will definitely be back.

Booked a table online so we could celebrate our son's graduation from the University of Cumbria. We arrived earlier than our booking but staff were very helpful and found us a table. There's an extensive menu and our food was served piping hot and tasted delicious. Staff were friendly and very efficient. Our meal was the perfect end to an amazing day. Thank you.

So impressed, as always, with the menu, reasonable prices, quality of food and friendly service

All Food was really good and the staff are amazing, can’t do enough to help and very chatty.

Excellent lunch with good friends. The restaurant was busy but the delicious food and welcoming service were not compromised in the least. Can't recommend this venue highly enough. Thank you team .

I booked a table online, received confirmation of the booking. Later in the evening got a taxi to the restaurant to be turned away. The staff said they were really busy and did not have a table free. They refused to honour the online booking and we had to leave and eat elsewhere. Bad staff attitude.

Extremely good food, well served. Staff were attentive to our needs and the atmosphere created an ideal setting to celibrate our daughters graduation.

7 of us arrived on a Wet Evening and were shown to our Table which was spacious and well set. Staff were brill and very attentive. Our order was varied but nothing was too much trouble. The Food arrived very quickly although the place was busy and it was absolutely delicious and well Presented. Mezzaluna is deffo right up there with the best in Carlisle. When the Bill came we were pleasantly surprised and We will definately be back .

Booked for our meal via the website, got email confirmation. Arrived early & our table was ready - staff very attentive and friendly. Plenty choice on menu - food was delicious. Food arrived quickly and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone in our party. Staff checked table for more drinks and that food was ok.

My friend & I were greeted with a lovely friendly welcome, there was a good selection of food to choose from on the Menu as well as a 'Specials Board' The food was very good & so tasty, we would definitely recommend it, a nice mix of locals & visitors created a lovely atmosphere.

It’s been many years since we’ve been due to moving away from Carlisle. I was hoping that after all this time it would be as fantastic as I remembered, and it was! Great food, beautiful restaurant, incredibly consistent.

Had a fabulous meal yesterday. Food was delicious, service was perfect... what more could you ask for.
