Great food and lovely staff, very accommodating. The restaurant itself has such a nice atmosphere. I would definitely recommend La Mezzaluna.

We have always enjoyed previous meals at La Mezzaluna so when we were in Carlisle for my wife's birthday, it was first choice for a celebration meal. The food was as great as ever, as was the value for money, but I was a little disappointed that there was no acknowledgement of the special occasion despite me pointing it out on the online booking. Also, arriving at the booked time of 7.30, all the places on the 'upper deck' were taken, so we were given a table nearer the door, with a resulting draft every time the door opened. Later in the evening, tables upstairs came clear so were allocated to later arrivals. Seemed as though we were penalised for arriving mid-evening although I had booked weeks before (as a birthday surprise). I didn't say anything on the night as it would have spoiled the occasion, but perhaps the table allocation policy for bookings could be looked at for the future.

Lovely food and service. We opted for the chicken dishes which were served with excellent roasted veg & homemade chips. Good value for money.

We dined here on Saturday 8th April. From walking through the door, the experience was brilliant. Looked after throughout and the food was outstanding. We will dine here again when in the area.

My wife and I have been to La Mezzaluna many times over a number of years and we have always had great food and service. The staff are very helpful and there is always a good atmosphere. Online booking is so easy.

Made the booking online. Easy process, quick confirmation. Arrived slightly early but no problem, seating very comfortable. Menu varied and extensive. Service quick and efficient, both meals arrived quickly and piping hot. Good quantities for both, there was enough without feeling stuffed afterwards. Good coffee and tiramisu to finish. A very minor quibble, I had the dry Italian cider - very pleasant not really dry.

Noted an easy to book reservation on-line & we were seated downstairs as requested due to mobility issues. The 4 of us enjoyed our meals @ La Mezalluna on last Saturday in March. 2023. The service was very attentive & prompt & the restaurant has a really nice social, friendly atmosphere. The price of drinks & all courses was not cheap as has increased like everywhere else recently unfortunately but not too much.
