Had a wonderful meal. Out favourite meal of the week. Great staff and gorgeous food and mulled wine. Dog friendly.

Absolutely beautiful food and amazing service. We have been for breakfast and dinner and both times it was perfect. The restaurant has a lovely cosy feel and it feels incredibly safe with all the new regulations. I would highly recommend!

I don’t normally write reviews but felt like I should me and my partner were not hoping for much going off the reviews on here and trip adviser but decided to give the Talbot a try, we were very surprised,, their very Covid safe constantly sanitising hands, card machines, tables and even the chairs which I haven’t seen anywhere else so we felt very safe,. I had fish and chips and my partner had the steak and ale pie both we’re delicious and my partner said it was the tastiest pie he’s ever had, I would absolutely recommend booking in advance as they seemed to turn away so many tables as it was constantly full, we both enjoyed our time at the Talbot and will be back when we’re next in the area.

We had a lovely meal whilst visiting Bourton-on-the-Water. The Brie starter was delicious as were both our main meals, pulled pork burger and sea bass fillets. The staff were so friendly and the room felt Covid safe. Highly recommend this lovely little restaurant right on the riverfront.

Great local restaurant for a hearty weekend breakfast, good atmosphere and friendly staff. We tried the Mexican theme night a few weeks ago best Mexican we have had in a long time we are looking forward to the Spanish tapas night Ole!!

We visited on Oct 25th. The Restaurant was Covid ready. The staff were very attentive and the atmosphere was nice. The food was very good and reasonably priced. We would recommend this restaurant when visiting Bourton on the Water.

Booked for lunch at 1 for three and a newborn we had a lovely space right at the front of the restaurant and plenty of room for the buggy, the food was lovely good portion size and great service. We will return soon.

Had a lovely "Croft" breakfast. Was a very nice setting.

Popped in for a coffee and cake not knowing what to expect. Well, my husband had a huge slice of lemon and elderflower cake with a glass of mulled wine and I had a toasted tea cake plus a hot chocolate with Bailey's, marshmallows and cream. Everything was delicious and as they were very Covid safe, I would thoroughly recommend them and would definitely go again when we next visit the area.

Lovely location with picturesque buildings which make for an ideal window setting. Staff are very attentive and food and drink was served promptly and was of good quality. Price of the service is highly competitive considering the location and would happily recommend to anyone who is visiting the Cotswolds

Good food, cosy atmosphere and very lovely staff.

We booked the Talbot for lunch after reading the positive Trip Advisor reports... And we were disappointed. It was OK... But no more than that. We had a fish and chips, two pies and a salad. It was all fine.....just nothing exceptional. The staff were very Covid safe, but at the expense of any atmosphere in the place. I'm sure we could have done better in Stow tbh.

Lovely food Good choice for kids as well Price good too Would recommend a visit if you are in bourton on the water

After shamefully walking out of two other restaurants already in Bourton on the water because they weren’t up to standard (yes, we’re fussy) we were overjoyed to finally come across The Croft (and so hungry) and it was worth the wait! The food was great, we had two of possibly the best burgers we’ve ever had and the staff were exceptional and so friendly! Next time we’re in Bourton we’ll be heading straight to the Croft!

We had dinner here over the weekend and it was lovely! Our first time in Bourton and this was in a perfect location near the water. The food was delicious, we had the sausages and mash, the fish cakes, and the sea bass (which was a special of the day) and it was all amazing. The decor was beautiful and would love to come back here again one day. Covid restrictions meant we had to log in and the menus were all digital which were all very easy to navigate. Thank you so much for having us!
