Staff were lively and friendly. We ordered a lasagne and a gluten free pizza which was lovely, bolognese with tagliatelle was also ordered and asked if could have a slightly smaller portion of the pasta compared to the bolognese and they changed the pasta to spaghetti without noting it to us which would have been declined if we had known and also the garlic bread was on brown sandwich bread slightly toasted and very soggy. Very disappointing with that. Even heard another table complaining about the garlic bread too.

Great food and environment. Excellent dessert - tiramisu. If the guest can park in the hotel is much better!

Unfortunately after a long wait we had visted Bourton on water but we could not have food in your restaurant. I was with my 5 month old daughter with my wife and had the booking done prior for 5 pm. We had reached the hotel early to get settled and have the food on time. But the lady staff in your hotel did not allow us to get in. Told me that the kitchen is closed and come back by 5 pm. It was too rude and unprofessional. I hope you don’t do this any other customers

Food mediocre, very salty. Not asked to sample the wine, simply poured into our glasses. Table sticky. Only asked if everything was ok when presented with the bill. 10% service charge added directly onto our bill, not that we have an issue with service charges but please don’t automatically include it without notification. One waitress friendly and seemed attentive, sadly not ours; our waitress forgot our side order, cutlery not replaced after our starters. Manager scruffy and on arrival simply bark ‘have THEY got a booking’ nice welcome..not! So overall, very disappointing and therefore not recommended, plenty of nicer options in the local area for the price.

Great food, lovely settings, really worth a visit. Went twice this week due to some of the best food we had whilst away.

My husband and I had a lovely meal on Wednesday evening. Good choices on menu, food was great and so was the service. Very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

Enjoyed a really good evening meal in the restaurant. Food was well cooked and well presented, staff were very helpful. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an Italian meal in the area.

Excellent venue, excellent atmosphere, excellent food , and the staff couldn’t have done any more to make our meal a wonderful experience, nothing was rushed just eat and enjoy, wonderful end to a wonderful day.

Booked a last minute meal in the resteraunt which was exceptionally good (Pizzas were delicious), decor was excellent matching the surrounding area of Bourton on the Water. The staff are a credit to the business and we're very pleasant, friendly and atentitive. We would highly recommend this resteraunt and will be booking the Hotel in the near future.

We have just eaten for the first time at The Croft and have been forced to pay the service charge. Our server said he wasn't able to take it off when we asked for it to come off as we wanted to leave our own tip. He said it says on the menu that service charge is on top and is compulsory. We didn't read that and in fact in the window it says a discretionary service charge. Service wasn't up to much. Didn't even ask how the food was or if we wanted a dessert. Guess imposing a service charge on the bill means a guaranteed tip and therefore no need to check on customer satisfaction. Have reported this to them using their online form as the server was insistent that it couldn't be taken off. While we would have ordinarily paid a tip we feel that we have been pushed into paying top dollar for service that we never had. Shame as food was good but being frequent visitors to Bourton-On-The-Water we shall be avoiding in the future.

Such a gem to find. Food really tasty and great menu. Staff just so friendly and helpful. Couldn’t do enough for you. Went with my husband and daughter and wish we’d found it earlier. All had different food and all loved the food. They are dog friendly and do take away. They also have rooms where you can stay but I don’t know what they are like, expect really lovely as the restaurant is just so well set up. Outside seating and comfy seating in restaurant and bar. We will be back and recommend fully

Good food, nice atmosphere and friendly service. We have dined here before a number of times when visiting Bourton and it has always been an enjoyable experience, will dine there again when in the area.

Bed so comfy my wife slept so well. Breakfast think maybes hash brown and black pudding sausage not that good quality. Apart for breakfast we ate out staff friendly
