My wife and I had a meal Saturday night and breakfast Sunday morning, service and food were excellent. Sat night was very busy but the staff coped well and were very pleasant. Couldn't fault my evening.

Pizzas and calzone excellent. The seafood meal not so good, the seafood was bland and looked like it had been boiled.

Service was interesting from the start - the two waiters couldn’t take us to the table / had to be the manager. Menu not as many options as advertised on the web. It’s mainly burgers which yo to be fair were good. However my son’s chicken dish was really over cooked and he didn’t eat it. They did however take that off the bill. Good if you are just after a burger.

We had another delicious meal here, it never disappoints for unpretentious Italian food. The staff were friendly and attentive, what more can you ask for? One little niggle was that I felt a bit chilly.

Food and atmosphere was fantastic.

Dining with friends that had not been before had high hopes as always had a good meal before, lots of young people serving and running around trying to service the tables but they just had no managerial direction consequently it was abit of a shambles. Wine orders that didn’t arrive, food was ok ish, a lot of money for what was delivered eventually..sorry Croft you need to up your game

Great atmosphere in the centre of the village. The food and drink were exceptional, definitely recommend.

Me and my wife had a lovely meal at Chester House. The food was delicious. Jake was our server and he really took care of us and made evening even more enjoyable.

Lovely restaurant in The Chester House Hotel, food was really good, service was excellent. Eaten there a couple of times previously and is always good. Will definitely return when in the Cotswolds next.

Booked a table at the croft to meet family. Excellent food, warm and friendly staff. Would recommend. Will visit again

The food was authentic and delivered quickly. It was very enjoyable however our first greeting at reception was not great as we were told that we may have to move our cars as parking was only for residents despite their being some unoccupied rooms so we could have had their spaces.

Dined here on a Sunday evening, although we have stayed and eaten here on a number of times on our trips to the Cotswolds. As usual, we found the food and service excellent, with very friendly staff and we couldn't ask for more. Definitely recommend.

We stayed at the hotel. The waitress ordered the wrong food for me and then was very unprofessional and rude about it and tried to blame me for ordering wrong even though she read back the order to me. By the time my meal came my daughter had finished her meal and we never did get more cutlery as asked for. The whole experience really ruined the evening which is a shame as the food was nice when the correct meal finally arrived!

We stayed at the Chester House Hotel and dined at their restaurant which was a return for us as we loved the meal before. We chose the specials which was lamb with dauphanaise potatoes & veg and sea bass with hassleback potatoes and roasted beetroot, both were absolutely delicious. We would definately return for another meal when visiting the cotswolds again.

We have been coming for dinner here for the last 3 years when we visit the Cotswolds. The food is always excellent, and the staff are always really friendly. Perfect.

Our food was not nice at all. I ordered the squid ink risotto and it was tasteless, lacking salt and pepper. Ordered the parmigiana as well and the aubergine was like water , so sorry, but I can make it batter at home. My husband ordered the sausiccia ravioli and it was soggy and the sauce tasted like a canned one. I am half Italian and really disappointed with the food served here . So sorry but our food was really bad. Plates were sent back half eaten but the server didn’t care to ask why. We just left.
