On a positive note, being adjacent to the river provided a superb view of the illuminated Christmas tree. However the menu choice was limited. Each meal was disappointing; poor quality and tasteless. All in all not value for Money. Such a disappointment.

Absolutely fantastic food staff was very attentive could not thank everyone enough.

Went for lunch yesterday. It was a welcome break from the cold. Although some items on the menu weren't available it didn't stop us enjoying other meals available. The service was good and the atmosphere was relaxing. Would recommend.

I'd booked afternoon tea and checked again by phoning up it was still OK to have afternoon tea at 3pm which I was told it was. When we arrived we were just given drinks menu and I pointed out I'd booked a table but we were told we could only choose from the cake in the window. It wasn't the experience I had hoped for unfortunately but the coffee cake we did choose was nice.

Our food and it's service were good, given what we considered to be a very limited menu. Having ordered we then noticed other diners had a far wider range of food and worked out we had not been made aware of the Festive Menu. We'd booked for a special occasion and as it happens only had one course, rather than the intended three. Staff needed to be on the case with this basic issue as the business ultimately lost out and our meal, although fine wasn't that special.

Excellent food with very helpful staff

We all ate from the Christmas menu. Starters were ok, as for mains 2 of us had pork which was nice but 2 of us had the venison which was dreadful. We aren’t usually ones to complain but we did mention that we weren’t happy but they didn’t offer to do anything about it. Probably would have been best to stick to their ordinary menu.

We recently enjoyed a delicious lasagne freshly made with a side salad and wine. Followed by panatone for desert and ice cream for my partner. The waitress was very polite, and attentive but not too much just right. The decor and surroundings are very tasteful all in all a delightful evening. Next time we visit Bourton we will be definately returning here for a meal again.

Lovely location, food nice not brilliant, staff could be friendlier especially when asking to remove the 10% service charge that was placed on the bill without mention on any menu or verbally. We asked politely to have it removed and was questioned 'why?' we gave our reason again politely, to then be given the silent treatment. Very rude and unnecessary for something that isn't a requirement for a customer to pay.

We had a really good meal on Friday evening. Food was delicious especially the mushroom ravioli. As good as some I had in Venice! Good friendly helpful service can highly recommend this restaurant

Lovely little restaurant. Staff very attentive & great quality food at affordable prices. I can recommend the spaghetti colognes & the carbonara.

Really enjoyed our visit here. Food was great, and portions very reasonable for the price, which can’t be said for many places in the Cotswolds.

Always a great place to grab a lunch or a meal when visiting Bourton, recently booked in for a birthday meal with friends, very welcoming, great choice of food, and all at a great price. Very satisfied and would always visit again. Great job by the staff.

Whilst staying in Bourton-on-the-Water for a short break I went for an evening meal with my wife to L’Anatra . So glad we did…really lovely Italian food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend. Will definitely be returning when visiting that area again…!!
