Great food, great service, will definitely go again!

My husband and I decided to visit the Lilac Cottage for our wedding anniversary lunch, off the back of a recommendation from a friend. We were not disappointed. The venue itself was lovely, we opted to sit in the secret garden, which has been decorated beautifully and was very comfortable seating. The host and other staff were welcoming, friendly and polite. It was a Tuesday afternoon, so it wasn't busy at all (we were the only ones in the garden) and the service was quick. The food was SUPERB! We definitely ordered more than we should of but that's what Tapas is for anyway. Each dish was delicious, was good perfectly and was thoroughly enjoyed. The drinks were good too, I had an aperol spritz and my husband had a cider, unfortunately they didn't have his normal due to a delayed delivery, but instead he opted for a Spanish cider, which was nice and refreshing. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent meal. Very family friendly. Relaxed atmosphere and varied menu. Staff were helpful and friendly. A lovely restaurant we visited on a stop over in Lymm. We would thoroughly recommend.

Yet another excellent meal in comfortable surroundings and a great atmosphere is these socially-distanced times. Smorgasbord starter offered plenty of choice followed by well-presented mains, burger for me and the meatballs for my wife. Always a favourite and no disappointment here. Just room for a shared dessert-fabulous. Friendly and efficient team made for a very pleasant evening.

Another delicious meal at Elmas, lovely atmosphere, wide range of food choice. Nice to see that the owner Burak is always around checking that everything is to your satisfaction. Highly recommended

We love going to Sabrosa - chilled and friendly atmosphere. Food is great and value for money is outstanding

Walked into a great atmosphere, place was buzzing. All team members very helpful and no shortage of them to help, possibly too many as asked the same question reference ordering on several occasions by different team members. Food nicely presented, and of a decent standard. However, the only "black mark" were the drinkers only sat in the window/outside tables who were extremely rowdy and did make us feel quite uncomfortable with their constant comings and goings, noise and over the top activity through the evening - just put a little of a sour taste to what should have been an enjoyable evening.

Lovely to be able to visit Sabrosa once again, we like the laid back, informal style. Reduced menus at present but still plenty of tasty food to choose from. Be back soon, thank you.

Lovely evening … excellent food … I’m vegetarian and the vegan courgette/pea risotto is lovely …. Very friendly staff etc . Would definitely go again….. Several choices for vegetarians/ vegans …
