Very good food and excellent service, was particularly impressed with the flavour of my main course, was a bit worried it could be a bit bland, given the ingredients, but was far from it!

Absolutely amazing first visit. Service was so warm and welcoming, and not intrusive at all. We absolutely loved the food and the portions generous. Loved the fried aubergine. Thank you :)

What a delightful evening. The food was fabulous, fresh and delicious. The service was great, nothing was too much trouble and we had so much fun. Thank you to Lilac Cottage for making us feel so welcome - can’t wait to come again.

As always friendly service and the food was good. Yes there may be delivery shortages but recommended alternative wines were very good. Food was delicious and plenty with good service. The recommendation of the new pork dish was worth our order. By far our favourite restaurant in the village

Our first visit to Lilac Cottage. The food was lovely as was the service & staff. We had a good range of tapas and excellent wine. Looking forward to revisiting soon.
