Fabulous afternoon tea in The Secret Garden - excellent food and friendly service

We enjoyed our sparking afternoon tea at the Townhouse Chester. They sandwiches were fresh, scones delicious and the variety of cakes superb. We also had a couple of delightful cocktails . We were well looked after by the staff with nothing being too much trouble. We will be back!

The best restaurant in Lymm, without a doubt: terrific food, top service in a great atmosphere. Love the place! Seafood pizza the best ever.

Excellent food, attentive friendly staff, lovely atmosphere. When you go to a restaurant you want to have a pleasant experience and you will certainly get that at Elmas. No hesitation in recommending.

Booked a table for 4 we where seated upstairs which was fine, ordered drinks then starters and main course , food came out in good time and was absolutely delicious , all four of us ordered different meals and tried each other's , the steak was cooked perfectly and just melted in my mouth . Only negative was the restraunt was extremely hot , this was due to the weather but only one ceiling fan which didn't help us in the corner , the food was lovely , service was great but would not go again when it's warm as made for an uncomfortable evening.

Fabulous food and attentive service slightly let down by very uncomfortable table arrangement upstairs on left of the door. Would def recommend but ask to sit downstairs

Great food and attentive, friendly service. Came for dinner and was able to take advantage of the EOTHO discount so it was also excellent value. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend.

The team at the Salt Bar give diners a nice welcome and provide exceptional service. The food has a Scandi influence and include a couple of great dishes - Scagen as a starter and Meatballs as a main. Altogether a great experience.

Lovely meal at the Helter Skelter food excellent,but made more enjoyable by how well organised it was given our current Covid crisis.The measures in place have been thought out well and don't detract from eating out.Well done Nick,Karen and the Team for making the experience enjoyable

Went out for our anniversary to use the Help Out to Eat Out scheme. First time eating here and the food was plentiful and excellent. Staff were very friendly and very efficient. No long waits for food or drinks which is great in the current climate

First time here and I absolutely loved it, I don’t normally write reviews but I felt I had to on Trip Advisors. I’ve raved about it to family and will definitely be returning very soon. Food was amazing (especially the home made breads)

Afternoon tea with a friend - was fantastic freshly prepared and home-baked cakes and scones. Customer service from the two members of staff we came across were polite and helpful. The townhouse is a real little hidden gem in Chester. I will definitely be returning. Thank you.

Managed to book a table on Saturday evening (1st Aug). Dining area was busy, which was good to see, so we were lucky to get a table at short notice. The food here is good quality, attractively presented and value for money pub grub. My husband & I both opted for burgers which, I have to say, were exceptional. The staff are always pleasant, welcoming, helpful and efficient and Saturday was no exception. The hygiene and social distancing measures put in place were clear and effective and we both felt relaxed and at ease. Well done to all and see you again soon!

Absolutely lovely food, friendly attentive staff and a great atmosphere. I felt safe here in the current circumstances, there were hand sanitizer stations and the staff wore masks.
