Very poor quality and relatively high price. Would not recommend.

This is a delightful country restaurant in a most charming setting. The food is fantastic yet the menu is simple being real country fare. The cakes and salad bar are truly mouth watering! The staff are friendly and helpful. I have been coming to this restaurant with my family for many years and hope to continue to do so. I would highly recommend The Country Mouse to anyone visiting the Wirral.

Had lunch at the Bunbury this week. Food was superb and extremely good value. Excellent range of well kept beer, good range of wine by the glass. Staff were pleasant and courteous. We ARE going back to enjoy a proper English pub with home made food.

This restaurant exploits Thai workers here by work permit. They are made to work 60 hours and paid less than the minimum wage. Dont eat here it stinks of corruption and is currently under investigation for fraud by the Home Office.

Ordered large chicken kebab. Definitely not a large kebab. If you like gristle and mediocre kebabs then orange pizza is the place for you. We had to check that the meat was actually chicken before eating. It was but obviously the cheapest cuts. Tasteless disgusting... Awful. Don't bother.

Love this place - brilliant selection of beers and ales from around the world and a brilliant menu. Live music every night is an added bonus, Great addition to Alderley Edge.

We had so many compliments from the guests…the food, the drink, the staff, the lavender! Everyone had a great time and said it’s the best wedding they have ever been to! Tom and I had the most perfect day and we will never be able to thank you enough. It was a day we will truly remember forever.

Go about once a month an eat at Oswalds, always good quality food and staff friendly, its got a casual atmosphere which is just what you want after work on a week day.

We dined there last Saturday, spur of the moment, nice evening. Had lovely, lovely meals and were delighted to have a small dessert with coffee for £4.50. What a good idea. A very pleasant experience. Staff delightful, we will return soon. Bill for two (without drinks of course) was £27.50 - remarkable!

On the 9/8/14 we celebrated our daughters 40th birthday meal here. I must say the food was superb, as was the service, very efficient and friendly. The cake was brought out to 'Happy Birthday to you' being played with a firework candle lit at the table. Very good prices to suit all pockets! Highly Recommended.Thanks to all staff for making Claire's day special.

Fantastic Sunday Roast dinner last week at The Black horse. Fantastic service and will defo be returning!

Visited with my family, each of the five of us had a different dish, all of which was of a very high standard.The service was prompt and friendly, this was on a wednesday early evening, as time went on, the inn began to fill with more customers, so I think that speaks volumes. I would recommend this eatery to anyone.

We had excellent food last Saturday. The staff are friendly and attentive. Have been three times now, and never been disappointed. Will certainly use this pub regularly.

Seven of us went to the Coach and Horses today. I ordered the grilled chilli cod. Lovely. I asked for mayonnaise and an earwig fell onto my plate from the lid of the squeezy bottle. Not a problem. BUT we were very disappointed with the customer service. We were informed that the chef found the incident funny. I waited another half hour for a replacement meal - without apology. Then all my friends had finished theirs and I was still sat there. I left without having a meal and without any offer of apology to me and my friends. LOVELY FOOD - POOR PEOPLE SKILLS. Hard luck, we meet every month but not at your place!

On recommendation from Sugarvine I took 2 clients to lunch. Was extrremely impressed with Spirit all round. Excellent service, food that looked and tasted first class at a reasonable price and the venue is a beautiful Georgian building. Will return and recommend. Great place to get browny points with clients.

Been a regular at the Lord Bining so really chuffed the New Moon Pub Company has takover Linenhall in Chester, as I now live here. looking forward to seeing what they have up their sleeve. I wonder if they will do a Beef and Pudding that they have in Manchester? That would be great!
