On a wet Saturday night in January my husband and I enjoyed a really good meal here, it lifted our spirits. The food could be described as good home cooking, provided you come from a family that knows about good food!! The service was charming and I would not hesitate to bring the most critical person to this tiny restaurant. The boys deserve to do well, they are offering a good service and I hope that they are part of the Chester scene for a very long time. I look forward to returning soon.

If you have not tried this place you have not had Chinese food!! Simply the best in the land... a must for anyone even the Valentines menu's is fab....go...........treat yourself to a night out to remember...try it, you won't be disappointed, TAKEAWAY AVAILABLE AND IT'S JUST AS GOOD...ENJOY.

Great place to escape to on a Sunday to fill your face. Real ale on tab is pretty impressive and they also do some decent wine. It's modern but still got a pub atmosphere.

We were made to feel most welcome and the food was cooked well and beautifully presented.

We generally have take out meals from Sindh every week! The food is excellent and we are never disappointed. I would recommend the Sindh to anyone.

Expensive drinks, will not allow you to drink tap water.

I visited the Chilli Club on a Monday evening so it was a relatively quiet night there but there were still quite a few people in which surprised me for a Monday evening. But then once I had been there for a few minutes I could see why. The smell of Thailand hits you as soon as you walk in to the restaurant which brought back some lovely memories for me! The staff were very attentive and instead of escorting us to a table, they let us pick where we would like to sit in the restaurant. The decor is very authentic with bit Thai cushions on the seats and lots of Thai art dotted around. The menu is extensive, so much so, it took us a while to choose! They also have some very good specials - we had the chicken wrapped in pandan leaves as one of our starters which was a special and this was a very nice change and tasted delicious! The Pad Thai is almost as good as you get in Thailand (only problem is the prawns are not the size of snakes like they are in Thailand!!!), and we also had Chicken in Garlic and Pepper with sticky steamed rice - all tasted delicious and just took me straight back to Thailand with every bite! The prices are also very reasonable for this country (as long as you don't expect Thai prices! :) ). We paid £50 for wine, 2 starters, 2 mains and accompaniments and coffees, which we found very reasonable. The food is delicious, service very attentive and a very good atmosphere. I would like to go back at the weekend when the place will no doubt be buzzing - I would imagine booking is required at weekends as it must get very busy. Also one thing to note - the staff really appreciate a little Sawadee Car or a Kop Khun Car (spelling is probably way off but you get the picture!) and a little bow when you leave.

beautiful looking coffee shop nice furniture and the staff are ok but the service was ok. the food nice but very expensive were talking around £5.00 for a sandwich. the coffee is nice but it could be better.

I think Sun Sing is amazing. The prices are really good. I would go there again.

I was the winner of last months comp at Tom at 101, can I just say the restaurant, staff and food where to the highest standard and Tom came out and shook our hands. The best restaurant we have ever dined in and as we are both 50 we have dined in a few. Many thanks for picking me out as the winner.

Best restaurant ever and the people there are lovely! Go there regularly and have been since I was born! 13 years ago love it would eat there every night if I could!!!!

I had a meal at The Bear's Paw with my wife last week, and what can i say? The food was outstanding, very nice, there was plenty of well kept real ales to quench my thirst as well. I had a 20oz steak for my main and it was cooked perfectly, the wife had escalope of veal which tasted marvellous. all in all i would definitely go back!!!! a great time had by all!!!
