This is a great place for the whole family, Gran likes it too as kids are so well catered for with colour packs and balloons and they like the food too. Recommend this. Also the off shoot Little Frankies at Westbrook Odeon Warrington is cool.
Frankie and Bennys – Ellesmere PortSunday Lunch at the Yellow Broom is a luxurious foodie way to spend a Sunday afternoon. You need to book but timing is very flexible starting at noon and bookings up to 3 p.m. are accepted! The 3 course menu is £15.95 plus extra for coffee and petit fours. An excellent wine list which can be pricey but easy to find a good wine at around £20 a bottle. Menu is predominately modern english. There is always fish on the menu and a vegetarian choice. There is a charming bar area where you sit and make your menu choice before moving into the dining room which has been recently extended by a lovely conservatory. You can return to the bar area for coffee after your meal. Well behaved children with good table manners are welcomed but it is predominately an adult environment. This is a place we never tire of and are never disappointed on regular visits.
Yellow Broom Restaurant – Holmes ChapelThe Belle is perfect for a quiet friendly meal with family or as a couple. The staff are excellent. There is a nice friendly atmosphere.
Belle Epoque – KnutsfordI love this restaurant, everyone was so nice and the food was totally amazing. Can't wait to go back. Very good selection of wonderful wines as well.

Ariete – WarringtonBest Indian Restaurant, I have been to and as I?e had dated an Indian for 3years, I have been to a wide selection of different restaurants not only in Cheshire but in London... I? a regular there, and the guys are great!
Balti Kitchen – MacclesfieldI go to the shalimar on a regular basis, i always tell people why i go to no other curry house because of the value for money, the great service, the relaxing atmosphere and i recommend trying their Peshwari naans.
Shalimar Restaurant The – MacclesfieldI expect more for that price, although everything was ok and nothing more...
Ristorante Sergio – ChesterFantastic Fresh Italian cocktails, great service and very tasty food. This restaurant is a breath of fresh air to Chester. You can dine, drink and dance till two in the morning. A great night in one venue! My husband and I had one of the best nights we have had in a long time.
Bollicini – ChesterThe Ash is a traditionally decorated pub-restaurant, and as soon as you walk through the doors you feel welcome. The food was fantastic! The portions were huge and were not overpriced at all. Smokers can dine in the main pub area and non-smokers can enjoy a secluded dining area, with comfy sofa's! Theres plenty going on at the night times for all ages and tastes. Overall a really nice place to dine and drink in.
Ash Hotel – Heaton MoorThis is a great Indian restaurant as good as the ones on the curry mile in Manchester if not better.
Shalimar Restaurant The – MacclesfieldReasonably priced all you can eat buffet with a wide selection of food. Atmosphere of a canteen with everyone jumping up to grab plate fulls of deep fried seaweed (cabbage - if you didn't know) and prawn toast. Menu and range of food varies depending on time of day and if its a weekend. Prices reasonable - but a fair bit more than the greasy spoon £5 menu i was used to in Newcastle's china town.
Fuxion Oriental – Ellesmere PortA pub with great character and charm, which has been mainly transformed to provide adequate dining space - at the cost of lounge seating space for only drinking. A truly English and traditional menu serving game and other British favourites. This is a great little pub if you want to get away from the usual hustle and bustle of the more commercial pubs, with food being cooked from fresh. There is also a selection of specials available. The pub also offers a selection of wines and beers. We had the steak and mushroom pie which came with a healthy portion of tasty mash and veg on the side. The meal portions are very generous and it takes a hungry person to finish one off (especially after a starter) the dessert menu is very satisfying and scrumptious too. Well worth a visit.
Bunbury Arms – ChesterAlthough the service was not speedy, the staff were friendly. The food was absolutely beautiful and the nicest meal I have eaten in a long time, I had the Lamb Shank with gorgeous mash potato, my father had the fillet steak which comes out on a hot rock for him to cook to his own taste. I would definitely recommend if you enjoy splendid food.
Chetwode Arms – WarringtonVery nice place to eat, I've been regularly over the past 20 years and not had a bad meal yet.
Chesters – MacclesfieldHad an very good lunch. The Roast Pork was delicious - meat was plentiful and tender although there was perhaps not enough of the tasty crackling; vegetables were perfectly cooked and the gravy was rich and clearly homemade. Well kept Robinsons beer too.
Legh Arms and Blackboy Restaurant – MacclesfieldJane the landlady cooks herself assisted by Cheryl. A varied menu is available. Dean the landlord supplies a fine selection of wines and beers. Pensioners specials at lunchtime. Book early as their reputation grows.
