Lovely old building in the Rows in Chester. Authentic Italian food. The lunch nenu was great value for money. Three courses £17.95 including coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful - even the chef came out to introduce himself. We will definitely return.

Carbonara at No 49 – ChesterFabulously charming Italian restaurant in Chester. Had a truly tasty meal last night with some great mixology cocktails . All 3of us had the grilled fish selection with sides of peas and pancetta and fried courgette sticks . Portion size was just enough and cooked beautifully . The attention to detail in service was a joy to see . We finished with home made tiramisu and gelato again tasting wonderful and cooked classically Italian . The bill total including drinks was £150 which in this day and age and to be served so very well was a great result . Thankyou to all the staff who cooked or served us last night it truly made our mums 79 birthday a great success
