Lovely pub, delicious food and excellent service. Totally recommend. We went early on a Wednesday night and we were the only ones in the restaurant, which is why I dropped slightly in the atmosphere. I hope it’s bustling on a weekend, it deserves to be.

I came to the pub with my friends last night for a meal and a catch up. Excellent food and service. Very reasonable prices. We will be back!

Very enjoyable evening with friends. Good food & a glass or 2 of wine. Our choices from the Menu were - Pork chop, Sausages & Mash, Hunters chicken, Lasagna all were good. Very attentive & friendly staff - Will return

I booked a table for 14 abs left it quite late to do so. I called in and was happy to hear that they could accommodate us. The food was fantastic as was the service. Value for Lindy was great too. I will be booking again.

The food was really good but the service was shockingly slow - over an hour to come and we one of only 2 tables Also the serving staff were not aware of simple questions like soup of the day or pie of the day so had to go and ask making things even longer So disappointing as the food here is good and very reasonable

We had a lovely Sunday roast at The Codrington Arms. The food was delicious and the staff were really friendly. The dining area is lovely and spacious and the food was reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning.

It was my birthday so I celebrated it with 5 friends we all had a lovely time and the food was excellent and staff friendly. Would definitely view again soon.

Haven’t been to the Codrington Arms for a while, pleasantly surprised. Friendly serving staff, excellent Sunday roast in all a pleasant experience.

Went to the codrington arms for a Christmas evening meal with my husband and mum - i cannot recommended them enough. Nothing was too much trouble, the food was lovely (and very generous portions) and even the dog was welcomed with open arms (he also got a Christmas dinner which hoovered up). Big thank you to all the staff - we had a lovely time and will certainly be back xxx

Our keep fit group had a cream tea just before Christmas , and it was absolutely beautiful such a selection of food , all home made , service was brilliant. Will definitely be back for another. Thank you so much you made our afternoon.

The Cod provided (for the 2nd year running) a lovely Xmas afternoon tea box, great mixture of cakes and sandwiches and the homemade sausage roll - just the best!! Have eaten in the pub beforehand and have always enjoyed lovely food with great service. Would recommend for either pub meal, carvers or afternoon tea.

Wow .. fab bottomless processco... food basket, hot and cold goodies.. Offered Pimms and endless processco, staff attentive and even offered more drinks as the 2 hours were ending... absolutely value for money... we will defo be re booking.

Came for a festive picnic and even though the food we had was nice, the service was extremely slow and didn’t get everything that was listed on the festive picnic menu. It was almost as if the festive picnic and afternoon teas were mixed. On arrival, there was a picnic hamper on the table with just crackers in so became irrelevant as soon as you took out the crackers. We had soup (delicious), had a mix of sandwiches (nice, but thought it was meant to be cheese and chutney), only had 2 mince pies instead of 4. Had to ask for the brownie tree as I don’t think we would have had it if we didn’t ask. Didn’t have pigs in blankets (although had a sausage roll which I know is part of the afternoon tea order). Kids food was all deep fried making it all the same colour. As mentioned the service was very slow and it wasn’t like it was busy. If you asked for something it was as if you were ‘putting them out’ No spoons were bought to the table for puddings and teas/coffees. Disappointing as I do love the Codrington Arms.
