Tried the 2 burgers for £18 deal on a Wednesday and it was brilliant. I had the vegan burger with halloumi and was so good . There is dairy free cheese option if vegan. My husband had the double classic burger and said it was great. The chunky chips were some of the best I have had (and I eat a lot of chips!) perfectly cooked and piping hot and fresh. We had the homemade white chocolate cheesecake and homemade brownie and both were superb. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. The pub is done out lovely and the staff super helpful and drink prices reasonable . Thank you to the Cod team for a lovely meal and afternoon

Great atmosphere, I didn't feel rushed when choosing meals, staff are so friendly and always have a smile. Food exceptional, tasty, delicious there are no words good enough to describe the food. I had a well done steak it was the best steak I have ever had, it was well done melted in the mouth and was absolutely perfect as was my husbands. Big compliments to the chef. If I ever want a steak I will always visit here.

What an amazing meal. Worth every penny. First time visiting the Codrington arms and will definitely visit again. Everything from the atmosphere the space and the lovely lady's who served was perfect.

I went here for a Sunday Rost with a friend. It was our first fmtime and we were surprisingly happy about the pub, very nice. The food was amazing. I will definitely come back. I'm curious to try their afternoon tea.

Went for Father’s Day and a birthday meal. Meal was very good and tasty very good value. Service was very good too. It was nice in the area for dining area that it wasn’t cramped. Everyone was friendly. Definitely will book again.

Popped in for dinner on Saturday night . Large carpark, nice decor and a lovely big garden. The food was lovely - very hard to find a nice salad but my partner was very a happy - I had the ploughmans and it was huge - no room for pudding but they sounded amazing.

Great sunny beer garden with a swing and slide set for kids. Lovely service and the gluten free options made my wife and me who are both coeliac feel normal again. The roast had gluten free gravy and Yorkshire’s and we added pigs in blankets and the cauliflower & leek cheesy bake which were also stunning. Great value for money, we will be back very soon.

We went to the Codrington Arms 26.05.24 for lunch. We had turkey and gammon Sunday lunch. The meals were really lovely, the meat well cooked and tender and the vegetables were also well cooked and everything was hot. Service was great and friendly and will definitely be going back. Would heartily recommend this venue for a great meal.

We had lovely service and food yesterday here. 2 roast beef, 2 roast gammon and a chicken burger and everything was hot, delicious and plentiful!!

Booked a table for 4 plus 1 child. Good menu. My daughter has intolerance to rapeseed so the lovely waitress was very helpful to chat with the chef to make sure nothing contained rapeseed. The chef made a separate sauce as he noticed there was rapeseed in the sauce they use. Unfortunately 20 minutes after leaving my daughter was very poorly, the same as all her other rapeseed attacks she's had It comes on so quickly. We think maybe the potatoes or something else on her plate contained rapeseed as it's a very difficult allergen to detect in ingredients as it is known by many other names. We understand it's not a known allergen and the chef tried, but was told her food was rapeseed free. Just wanted to let you know in case anyone else has the same problems. My dinner unfortunately was greasy and there was more batter on the goujons than fish. Which is a shame. My son and his girlfriend had a burger which they thoroughly enjoyed! We mentioned the greasy dish and had a refund which we appreciated. Thank you! This isn't a complaint just wanted you to be aware of your ingredients.
