Went last night booked on line got there no record of booking this has happened twice now. Food was ok has been better, got 2 people’s dessert wrong took them 3 times to get it right and it was freezing.

We had the early bird menu, the food was great and great value for the price, would recommend papa luigis.

Great food and service , piping hot , tasty and served by helpful , friendly staff, also had a great cooked breakfast both mornings during our weekend stay which were also excellent !!! Just one comment it would be lovely if guests staying over in the accommodation could have access to a snug area to sit in after dinner , as seating by the bar area is very limited .

Went here for a sunday afternoon meal. This was about our 6th visit to the Hinds Head and as always were delighted with the food and the service . For starters my wife had King Prawns and she said that the sauce was delicious. I had the creamy garlic mushrooms which were fantastic. For mains we both had the pie of the day ( Steak ) - The steak just melted in our mouths and there was plenty of it. As always the staff were very attentive and very polite. Thank goodness that we have booked to go back again in about 3 weeks !!!

We booked a meal for 4 at 18:00, we hadn’t been before and wanted to try somewhere new. We weren’t disappointed, The service was great, portion sizes too, food was lovely and excellent value for money will definitely be back.

Beautiful meal and service. We go here twice a month at least & never disappointed . Pescatarian friendly menu. Love the vegetable mezze.

Fabulous Sunday lunch, short of staff due to sickness but staff held it together brilliantly, food was lovely, all homemade ( hate shop bought pate and frozen roasties) this is our favourite place for lunch and we've been many times and will continue to xx

We arrived, as a party of 5, on a busy Sunday afternoon but that didn’t deter the staff from providing a good service. They apologised for the delay in seating us but this gave us ample time to have a drink beforehand at the bar area. The meals were well presented with ample portion size. The service staff checked to ensure everything was satisfactory. It really had a pleasant ambience, we weren’t rushed and would definitely return.

Been coming here for over 30 years and never had a bad meal. Staff always attentive and happily prepare a chicken dish for my husband that is no longer on the menu. Noisy and cheerful, just as an Italian restaurant should be.

Love this place. Had Sunday lunch 2 courses, there were 6 of us, all meals were delicious and hot Staff very friendly Can definitely recommend

Love Papa Luigis. Been going here for 35 years. Lovely food, the best pizzas I've ever had. Good value for money and a great atmosphere.....if a little noisy at times. Tables are very closely packed together. My only criticism is that I was served an espresso in a large coffee cup. It just goes cold straight away. Staff polite, attentive and happy.

We’ve kind of rediscovered this place after quite a few years absence (nothing to do with this place). We’ve actually been now in consecutive months and ordered the same main courses ,they were that good. Pate starters had a good size chunk of pate, only complaint was that there wasn’t enough toast (one slice). Chicken livers were for me a bit too hot (contained chilli peppers) but a bit overpowering rather than adding a flavour. Menu did state contained chilli tbh. Mains were Tagliolini Almalfi which contained chunks of salmon and broccoli, very nice. Always go for a dessert which was Tirimasu which just melted in your mouth, lovely. Good atmosphere, good service and approx £30 per person for 3 course plus a drink. Tables are relatively close to each other, but enough to give you your own personal space.

Always go for the Lasagne as been the best but tonight nothing like previous and tasteless....the dreaded bechemel prominent in it for some reason, never before ? Shame as everything else was good so will have to go elsewhere to satisfy the Lasagne thing! Also only got a bit of veg with fillet steak Monte Bianco, no pots so don’t know if you have to order separate ???

Mum's 86th birthday meal. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly, warm,welcoming and attentive. Will definitely be going back and very highly recommended. Well done Team Papa Luigis

Visited here for the first time on Saturday. Everything was absolutely amazing. The place itself has such cute decor and the food was amazing! Definitely worth the money and more. Would highly recommend

Found the Hinds Head when looking for somewhere to go for lunch with my mum. Food was excellent, we had a lunch time baguette which came with chips and salad. The rest of the menu looked great and we will definitely be returning in the future.
