Very friendly staff. Roast beautifully presented . Delicious limoncello mousse dessert. My beef was fine but my wife found hers difficult to cut and rather chewy. On reflection should have mentioned it. Menu was extensive and very tempting. Will definitely revisit

Thanks for a lovely Sunday roast today, we had a lovely time with your friendly staff.

Can not fault this restaurant. The food was of amazing quality and the staff could not do enough for you. We had a 2 year old with us and did not have to wait long for our food at all. I would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Great meal with family, in fact the best fish pie in Lancashire! Great service by Tom too! Would definitely recommend!

Was the last people in there for food but the service was not compromised at all! One of the waiters, a young blond lad served me and my girlfriend and he was extremely polite and professional and made the biggest effort to make us have a nice evening! Lovely food as always.

Visited 6 Aug 19 for dinner. Have eaten here a number of times during the last 18 months and will come again and again as we continue to enjoy the excellent food, most pleasant staff who give excellent service. Lovely atmosphere and value for money. Unreservedly recommend.

We have visited the Hinds Head several times over recent years and always had a good experience. The service and quality of the food has always been excellent and good value for money. On our most recent visit we enjoyed the lunchtime fish & chips and the fillet of sea bass - both well presented and tasty. My only minor comment is that the lunchtime menue doesn't seem to be quite as extensive as it once was - I realise they are trying to keep prices down but maybe to have a couple of lunchtime 'specials' would add a bit more interest to the offer.

Lovely venue. Food was amazing - I want to marry the chef! Had feta and red onion garlic bread then fillet steak stroganoff. Even the coffee was lovely, Service was very attentive and pleasant. I will 100% be going back, If I had to find fault I just didn’t find the chairs comfortable but this wouldn’t deter me going again.

Warm friendly welcome, supurb service, delicious food. Highly recommended!

First visit and won’t be the last. It was very busy but the service was excellent. The food is fresh so there was a little wait but that wasn’t a problem, especially as it was delicious and beautifully presented. A little gem in Charnock Richard.

Superior pub food in a lovely environment with friendly staff!

Fantastic meal out - Thursday steak special for two including wine for under £30 all in. Couldn't resist the sharer platter of mixed Mediterranean treats. All served with care and flair. The steaks were the best we have had in a long while with the crispiest onion rings and vine tomatoes, mushrooms and home cooked chips. Colette was attentive and friendly. Altogether a most pleasant meal in attractive surroundings. We will be back! Congratulations to the chef and team

Would like to pass on our thanks for a lovely meal on Saturday 23rd June. Our meal was somewhat late in arriving, but the quality of the meal and your friendly and hospitable staff made the evening. We could see you we're clearly very busy and appreciated the effort you made.

Visited this Restaurant for grandsons birthday celebrations and mother’s day treat. What a fantastic find the food was wonderful in every way! The staff were so attentive and lovely with the children.x We will return.

Excellent ragu at Essenza. New owner a real foodie with a passion for authentic Italian food and ingredients.

Absolute gem of a pub, right up our street this one!!!!! Really friendly staff, my favourite ale (Windermere pale ale), superb food, great steak deal and dog-friendly ( gave our dog a nice pile of cold-cut beef!). Wish it was near our gaff!!!!
