We decided to try new restaurants because of the 'eat out' deal and feel we have now found a restaurant to add to our 'regular' list. Friendly, efficient staff, great menu choices and excellent food - we will definitely be back.

Came to take advantage of the 50% Eat Out offer in August. Had the two course set menu. Absolutely delicious. Would have liked more of the pomme purée as it was fab and more veg could have been included. Very good value with the offer. All the staff were fantastic and social distancing and safety were excellent.

We had an excellent relaxing meal and the staff were pleasant and the service very good.

We have dined twice recently and on both occasions the food was very good. Over the course of both visits we have sampled the venison haunce (2), lamb shoulder, roast chicken, sirloin steak and steak and mushroom pie for mains and all delicious. We have also sampled various desserts including Rhubarb Crumble, Creme Brule, Pavlova and the Cheese selection; again all very well presented and delicious.

Me and my friends wanted a catch up post-lockdown. We found this lovely little pub/hotel and thought we would give it a try. (we prebooked a table). The food was amazing and the staff couldn't do enough for you. Was such a lovely little find and will certainly be returning again soon. The price was good also.

I have just spent 2 nights this weekend at the 3 Millstones with my partner, his son and girlfriend. I fully recommend it, the rooms were lovely and immaculate, the owners and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed there for a meal on Saturday the food was amazing, one of the best meals I've had in a long time.

Delighted to know that the 3 Millstones has re-opened as we have had many excellent meals here. Shortly after using the new on-line booking system I received a phone call saying the restaurant wasn’t open at the time the system allowed me to book. Now I have received a request to review the meal we didn’t have!

First meal out since lock down and as always it was lovely. This is one of our favourite places to eat, always welcoming. Sunday lunch was amazing

We recently returned to the 3 millstones for our 5th wedding anniversary. Our meal was just as amazing as our wedding day there. The staff are super friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. Can’t wait to go back again :)

Made to feel at home upon arrival by the friendly staff, excellent service and fantastic food. Glad we booked as on the Friday afternoon as it was busy with every table taken. Will be visiting again soon.

We have been on a Sunday several times in the past and always had excellent food and service. As we have not been for a while we decided to go again for the Sunday menu, their website says 2 courses £19, when you get there the menu has on £20.50. We were shown to our table drinks order taken, my husband had a shandy which was very flat. We decided to have a main and desert. Hubby ordered roast beef which I couldn’t have eaten as it was very rare. I had sea bass which I was so pleased about as the skin was crunchy how I like it but was far too salty. With our meal we got 2 small roast potatoes each, small potion of cauliflower cheese and carrots, very poor. We then asked for the desert menu to which she forgot to bring, I wouldn’t mind if it was busy but there were very quiet. After she started a few jobs she realised she had forgotten our menus. My hubby had sticky toffee pud which was lovely, I had the creme brulee which was tiny. The lady who took our main order in the past has been very pleasant but this time she must have been having a bad day, couldn’t even produce a smile. We both said we will definitely not be going back.

Had dinner here on the first night of a two night stay for a wedding. Lovely warm dining room and friendly helpful staff. Nice choice of starters and lots of mains choices. Excellent steaks but also other options including fish, chicken and lamb. The ribeye steak was probably the most flavoursome I’ve ever had and my partners lamb was pink and tender. Lovely and uncommon German wine. Very much enjoyed.
