My husband and I came for a Valentine’s brunch and enjoyed excellent food from the breakfast menu. Staff were very attentive and my breakfast was beautifully presented as was my husband’s eggs florentine. How do your poached eggs come out so perfectly? I didn’t want baked beans but was able to swap them for an extra egg which was great.

The Hare and Hounds – ColchesterMyself and my husband had a lovely lunch on Sunday 9th February. My husband had the open club sandwich with a side of chips, I had the Vegetarian Roast. I chose this as I do not eat solid Beef, pork or lamb, but would have chosen chicken or Turkey if that had been on the menu. So, although the lunch was absolutely delicious, one of either of the above choices would have been nice as well.
