Pre-arranged evening meal for group of 21.Well organised , attentive service and congenial staff . Good food thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Recent lunch at the Egerton Arms with eight friends. The food was good with the gammon and egg and the steak pie both having good reviews.

Whilst the service and food were excellent as usual, there was disappointment that the food menu seems a little more restricted - and in some cases dearer. Despite the reduced menu, certain items were not available.

Food average at best, the service was not good at all

We had a beautiful meal on Sunday It was a belated Mother’s Day treat for my mum and stepdad Staff were lovely and the setting was lovely and traditional Will definitely be back!!

Lovely meal with our family, 15 of us in total and the food was hot, well presented and we all really enjoyed it. Service excellent too.

We come up from Cornwall to see our family quite often and The Egerton is fabulous because we can bring our dogs, have fantastic food and comfy surroundings. Excellent

Lovely staff and a good ambience make it a pleasure to visit the Egerton Arms. My wife and I have been here a few times recently and the food has been excellent on each visit.

Excellent food and service. I took my wife on mother's day it was very busy but they coped brilliantly.

I arrived wih a party of 21, which became 22 on the night (always one isn't there) from the local tai chi groups. Perforce, the meals were pre-ordered. Everything went without a hitch, and I had no unfavourable feed-back from anyone. You can please all the people all the time !!!

Food great! Service prompt and friendly. Having pre booked we would have expected to be seated in the restaurant area, we were in the main bar area which is ok but wasn’t expected as it is the dog friendly area - something to consider when booking.

Great home cooked food, great service, great atmosphere.

Nice Sunday roast lunch. Small plate was plenty. Deserts nice but a bit pricey. Love pub with a pleasant atmosphere. Staff attentive and polite.

Visited yesterday with family, the staff were all very friendly and we all enjoyed our meals, will definitely return.

Excellent lunchtime all round.

2nd time we have had Sunday dinner here and the food was consistently good. We would defo go again. Only down side was the lack of attentiveness in regards to drinks, they could have made a lot more money on our table alone if the staff went checking for drinks.
