Delicious food but LONG queues to carvery and the table, cutlery etc were filthy. It will be a cold day in hell before I go there again!

dear sir or madam i am writing to you over our meal we come every Friday around 5 0 clock for the last three weeks the roast potatoes have not been very nice they have been burnt to a crisp and this is not the usual expectation of the meal

you walk in to the restaurant and rather than being greeted in the friendly way you would expect you get grunted at by a very miserable looking manager, through out the meal we were made to feel like children, for example my partner was pointed at to move the poppadoms out of the way rather than being asked, we ordered another drink ad the waiter leaned across my partner as he was eating instead of walking round to the other side of the table the whole meal itself was not particularly nice. upon complaining, the manager was extremely sarcastic, didn't apologize once and told me i was "talking bullshit", mean while the rest of the staff were stood around laughing. if you want my advice if you are looking for a nice friendly place to eat this is not it, i will never step foot in that place again, i have never been made to feel so offended and worthless in my life. we are currently seeking advice on what action to take on this matter.

Great little Italian restaurant. Good food. Good value as the portions are quite big! Great for an evening out with friends.

Kaash Tandoori Restaurant – Chesterfield

Called 28/07/08 this pub is part of pub and carvery, its carvery is a bargain £3.50 6 days a week. Yet it falls down on value wise due to amount of meat given, could not recommend if this is the usual fayre on offer.

Yorkie must have visited a different Hardwick Inn from the one where I ate.The pate, though tasty was thrown into a bowl on top of a wet and tasteless salad. The Carvery was disgusting - overcooked and almost cold.Expensive, poor quality food. You had to pay for three courses whether you wanted them or not.Someone's having a laugh here - this restaurant should be a show case for The National Trust who own the building.

As Carvery's go this wasn't bad.Reasonable value for money.

Interesting to see that Webbo doesn't mention the food - just as well! One of the worst pub meals I've ever had, can't imagine chef has had any training.Sausage & mash served in a bowl, you couldn't see either as they were completely immersed in gloopy gravy.Sausage looked and tasted as though it had been cooked several times. My partners fish was dark & dry and the batter was lined with an unappetising and cakey yellow hue. I'll look at the view somewhere else thanks.

We attended the Pebley Inn for a party during October 2007 and found the pub to be extremely good. A fine selection of beers and ales and Hearty home cooked food. The atmosphere was well in keeping with a great English Pub and the hospitality, excellent. We couldn't fault anything about the Pebley and found the hospitality of the owners second to none.

What can i say, i have been attending the Star of Sall for nearly 5 years now and my partner has been a regular customer for 13 years, this is all because of the friendly service and fantastic quality food that we enjoy time and time again. If it's a simple dish you require or something a little special, the Star of Sall will cater for your every need.

The Wellington hotel is a fantastic restaurant, it has a wide range of foods, and also has a menu for vegetarians and special discounts for senior citizens. The staff are friendly and sociable, but they always put there best foot forward when it comes to service. The food is completely outstanding, and I go there very frequently. Well done

Frankie and Bennys is always a reliable old favourite! I just dont know quite what it is about this place because the food is amazing, but it is nice and the pricing is above average but something keeps me and my man returning! could be the excellent customer service which stands for a lot in my book!
