Disgusting customer service and food place is always dirty in the childrens area nappy bins overflowing! Managers attitude was discraceful allowing a woman to shout, swear and threaten myself in front of little children. If you want bad food and terrible customer service this is definitely the place to go

I am a Coventry man, I was introduced to the "Fisherman's Rest" by my Lady friend from Ambergate. We are not pub/club people and went there initially for a meal We loved it. The food was very good and so was the beer. When we are in Derbyshire it has become our local. We enjoy the Monday Quiz nights and also the recent Burns Eve night when we had Haggis, Tatties and neaps with a wee dram of single malt with black bun pudding to gfinish, it was a greaf night with a Scottish flavoured quiz too. David and his mum and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. We recently heard that the Fisherman.s is up for sale (we are back in Coventry at the Moment). We also read David's article on the web about it now being a safe place to eat after the previous owners letting it go. we were very upset and sorry for David and his mum who have spent so much time and money to make it a success, We hope that the present difficulties will soon be over and they can carry on . We will miss them so much. John Barlow and Margaret Green

Amazing new restaurant in Glossop. The food was lovely, the atmosphere great, and the staff knowledgable, attentive and keen to explain the food options without being patronising. Would recommend to everyone, w

I'd like Thank You to the staff of the Jonty Farmer. My mother lives nearby and is housebound. Meals on wheels were a non starter - just hated them. Frozen ready meals just as unsuccessful. Now the Jonty Farmer deliver her a hot meal regularly and she is likeing it a lot. This really is local community care where it matters

Been to this restaurant on many occassions. Cannot pick any fault whatsoever. We enjoy taking our friends to the restaurant as we know they wont be disappointed. Fantastic food, fantastic staff and fantastic service.

I have recently had the misfortune of visiting this establishment and i had Doner meat and chips , The chips where well undercooked and the doner meat raised alarm bells when it was bought out of a bain marie and placed on the griddle which must have still been cold because the meat was pale in colour and was still quite cold. In a nutshell never again.

We have eaten at La Bodega 4 or 5 times since it opened and have always been very impressed by the food and ambience. It is a small space but they serve up extremely authentic Spanish Tapas. Wine is good value too - Highly recommended,

Nice atmosphere. lovely wine menu. food was okay cheap enough very similar to weatherspoons. Told there was going to be a 40 minute weight but it came out in ten minutes ! they had run out of jackets and my prawns were overcooked but as i said you get what you pay for

We went here last night for a meal, the staff were very friendly and made you feel really welcome. The food was fantastic and very reasonable priced. The bill was £90 for 4 including 2 bottles of a lovely red Rioja, with loads of tapas dishes. I would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be going again. The lamb stew was to die for.

I recently visited the Grouse with family and friends for my sisters 60th birthday. We were made very welcome and the food was excellent. A good night was had by all, and we will certainly be visiting again.soon.

Wow what a gem, out in the sticks but well worth the effort to find. This is most definitely not 'pub grub' or 'gastro pub' this is exciting passionate food obviously made freshly from locally sourced ingredients, Jon and his team have a real flair for food and it shows. Cannot wait to go back, in fact they apparently do small intimate weddings and private functions, so I may hold a private dinner party their which would be great.
