Pro: - Food was quick to arrive Cons: - Drinks came 20 after food arrived - Fiddly app having to register to order as they weren’t taking normal ordering - Sounded like a children play area - Child coughing over tables whilst wandering around area Advice: great for kids, bring ear plug or paracetamol

Food was lovely even though my 3 year old had more chips than the adults put together. Sadly what let out whole experience down was the greeting from your front of house he was rude and abrupt I take covid rules seriously but been told to show my check in rudely is a first for me and his whole attitude as we We’re shown to our table he pointed at the code on table and we were told we have to order on app which is fine but if I was alderly or hadn’t got a clue how I’d of been lost . Every time I’ve visited the venue I’ve never felt unwelcome but this time I did we won’t be back !

It was...OK. Food arrived quickly, as expected, standard chain pub grub. Staff were fairly attentive. It was pretty empty, we were seated with a view of the car park. Our spoons weren't very clean and when had a coffee after lunch the cups hadn't been washed properly - there was a coffee tide mark half way down as we drank and the outside of the cups had lots of little dried coffee splashes on them. I realise staff might well be new and pubs have had it hard, but cleanliness is baseline really. .

Food was great value for money. Could have done with a better choice of cask ales. The app was a bit sluggish but staff were very friendly and helpful.

It was okay, staff worked hard, food was average, what you would expect really, will probably go back as the "moby dick" is popular in the family.

Having visited this eatery many times before we were very disappointed on this visit. A shortage of staff?? A shortage of Chefs?? We don’t know but our food order took 40 minutes to arrive. This was great for the bar takings as we drank more. But not good for our well being, driving, and not good for our hunger pangs. However, because of our past experiences we will continue to visit and hope that the staffing situation improves. The food is excellent when you get it but waiting too long kills the anticipation.

Lovely place food not so great,I had a combo of chicken southern fried chicken and rack of ribs, the corn on the cob was freezing, the chicken strips was so small they was hard and the rack of ribs consist of 2 ribs, I really wanted to send our food back but my partner hates a fuss, the kids meals were ok, I won’t be going there again.

I absolutely love the place! Gorgeous views all around while you enjoy your food out the back, super easy to book and order your food and food comes out perfect! Cannot fault the place, highly recommend!

None of the staff have a clue what they are doing, upon arrival we were told we had to order off the app but could split the payment on there, this wasn’t true! Food was ok but nothing to shout about. Service just wasn’t good enough to be honest!

This restaurant is a joke. No need to list the problems because EVERYTHING was wrong. If you manage to place your order, you will realise they cant cook steak, no matter what you get, its gonna be about 2 levels above well done.

Would have been helpful to know that we needed to order online before arriving. Took half an hour to sort out. Food was lovely, and really good value. We were looked after by a very friendly attentive young man. Will definitely go back. Would have liked dessert but were too stuffed to manage it.

Visited on Friday 28th May at 430pm. Service from the minute we arrived at the door was efficient. We were asked to either check in using the nhs app or sign in in the book, we were then shown to our table and asked to order everything via the app. My mobile data was quite slow but we got there in the end. The meals came out within the 20 minutes the app had said and our drinks were there a few minutes after the order was place. The steak was cooked as requested. The mushrooms and onion rings side orders were over cooked. We also ordered a chicken dish which was lovely until I got to the middle and the chicken was raw. We informed a waitress who got the kitchen to make another one. Unfortunately the second one came out over cooked around the edges but still undercooked and pink in the middle. We were refunded for that meal. They were going to come back and take our dessert order but didn’t so we just ordered them through the app. The rest of the experience was very pleasant.

Came for a family meal catch up and I ordered on the app and the food and drinks came very quickly and the service was very good. Food was amazing and a great steak.

Not a good experience. I know its difficult times atm, but food and drinks had to be ordered on an app. Conflicting advice from man who greeted us to waiters/waitresses. 4g wouldn't work so had to link into pub wifi to place the order which meant giving personal info. Staff didnt know which steak was med and well done, we had to work that one out ourselves. Drinks were wrong, wrong puddings bought out, then wrong ingredients added to the correct puddings. Food was very average and quite bland. Ive dined there several times in the past, but not again, and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I hope all this mess is juat the current situation, but we didnt enjoy the experience

Visited 26th May and was put upstairs with one other table. Food was disappointing however there was no table checks so unable to inform staff of this. Steak should of been medium rare and another medium however was well done. General quailty was poor, tikka masala was nothing like a masala however the staff we encountered were pleasant however food and ambiance let the meal down.

Great value lunch in the new outdoor space. We had lunch on 27 May and the covid controls were working well. Easy to book a table on line and then we asked to move outside, which was fine. A little bit of confusion about using the app, but our order was taken in the old fashioned way after a short wait. Good value food and joy to be able to get together again.
