If you're looking for a good pint on Mutly Plain this is the place to go. The staff are the best! The atmosphere is great, always busy and always welcoming - even the locals welcome you - the food's ok but it's the beer and the atmos that get me there. There's also an acoustic music night downstairs on a thursday if you fancy some laid-back entertainment

I visit this place often. The staff are really friendly, the place is always busy and upstairs can be VERY loud. The food is very good my only complaint about it that you get too much! However they are more than happy to serve half portions. I'd advise booking in advance or, being prepared to go for a drink in one of the many bars whilst you wait for them to fit you in (which they invariably do) Give it a go!

We think this must be the best restaurant in the Plymouth area. We eat out very frequently and found the food and service second to none

The quality of the food and the hospitality at the Eastern Eye were both really fantastic. It was also amazing value for money. We went there for the first time yesterday and we are already planning our next visit! We would highly recommend this restaurant.

Quite simply the best fish and chip restaurant that I have been to. Good quality cod cooked in a light crisp batter, tasty mushy peas and great chips. The dining room is light clean and stylish. There should be more places like this.

Had a good mix of tapas in the downstairs bar, which is very stylish. Good tuna with well-spiced Pak Choi, accurately cooked squid with chilli, great olives, smoked aubergine with homemade grissini and croutons, falafel and fried broad beans. All this and a bottle of Prosecco for less than forty quid for two, bargain. Will be back to try the restaurant upstairs.

The best around by far, great fish. Our most recent visit was preceded by a circular walk starting at the pub followed by a great lunch. Not to be missed

Lives up to its reputation as one of THE places to eat in north Devon - stunning building AND great tapas-style bar food AND sussed staff. Can? wait to go back and eat in the restaurant

Wow! Everything you want fish and chips to be. Normally you're disappointed, but not here. I'd like a bit more choice of different fish and less of the burgers, but what we did have was perfect.

I love cafe rouge Plymouth, always welcomed - staff chatty, informative but never intrusive, loos ok (girls understand this!) food always very good. Desserts are heavenly, would recommend trying here, possible pricey, but you get what you pay for

The best vegetarian restaurant that I have been to in the South West. Food is definitely authentic when compared to the other restaurants.

Living with a Vegetarian can be a nightmare, but even I have a enjoyed everything on offer at this restaurant. Normally, a devoted Chinese food fan, I often stray to Veggie Perrins for a wonderful second love. The ethics of the place would shame Ghandi too. Recommendation: Best try it.

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Bistro one as winners of a meal for two. The food was fantastic. The hosts made us feel very welcome from the time we arrived to the time we left. I would definitely dine there again. The fact that they also cater for people with special dietary needs is great. Thanks to you both for a wonderful evening!

Very family friendly, great food and love the decor sofas and paintings

Having travelled all over Asia for business and a lover of asian cuisine, I was amazed to find that I could relive the moments at this fine restaurant. The food is magnificent and each customer is made to feel like a king!

Lovely food, great service. A very friendly, local pub atmosphere. Dog friendly and extremely welcoming to all. Couldn't recommend this place enough. Not too difficult to find - well signposted from Bickleigh, Cullompton. Well worth it when you get there. Plenty of parking, nice outside area.
