Myself and 5 friends arrived on Thursday night at 8.15. Upon arrival there was a glowing buzz about the place. every table was full. The waiting staff very attentive and on the ball. The food here is all freshly prepared including the pasta. Most of the group opted for the calamari. It arrived in this beautiful tomato based sauce. I honestly wanted to pick the plate up and lick it clean. Instead the delicious garlic bread was used to mop it up. For the main course we again opted for the vitello milanese. Whilst we were enjoying the starter, I? sure they were battering the veal ready to breadcrumb. I was right. When it arrived we weren? disappointed. The fresh spaghetti with the tomato sauce was lip smackingly unctuous. The veal cooked to perfection. One of the party went for the duck confit. The duck nice and crispy. This place is a Didsbury Gem. For dessert we ordered 2 desserts the chianti poached pear with a dark chocolate sauce. and the chocolate hazelnut cake. Both were equally amazing. Everybody should check this place out. I also suggest booking as it must always be full. A pleasure!

Thoroughly recommended! Very pleasant ambience, great service, and the food... a revelation! All dishes were enjoyed by our group, particularly outstanding were the mushroom and leek strudel and a mushroom with pancakes and plum sauce starter served in the style of peking crispy duck. YUM! Will be back soon, and I'm a committed omnivore!

I've been going to the Moon for nearly 10 years now, and the quality has never wavered. Even when I've not been living in Manchester, any weekend visit included a meal here. The mixed grill Kararhi is amazing.

Been to this restaurant a few times now, have enjoyed it more each time. The recent refurbishment just adds to the great atmosphere. Very good value for money.

This is a great addition to the Burton Road scene. Particularly impressive are the daily specials - the restaurant specialises in wonderful fresh fish which is always worth sampling. Good ambience but it won't break the bank. Highly recommended.

I've been here a few times. The food here is a cut above your average indian. Every dish I've had is full of flavour. I would recommend it to anyone.

Went last weekend again to here. As usual, great food and service. We had booked and thank goodness we had as the place was full by 1900hrs and as far as I could see was goin to be all night! My female friend , who is a big fan of this establishment was also impresses as usual.

What can I say about this place? I live round the corner and for 8 months I didn't go in, preferring to try other places that looked more appealing on the outside. Just goes to show you should never judge a book by it's cover because when you go in here and try the food it's amazing, by far the best curry house round here, better than Rusholme

I would highly recommend a trip to Azzurro. Excellent food and exceptional service can be expected. We went along for the Wednesday special offer. The menu is wide ranging to cater for all tastes - we were spoiled for choice. Staff could not have been more helpful. We will certainly be going back in the near future.

Absolutely gorgeous restaurant. A fantastic variety of Mexican food on the menu - especially recommend the shared platter as a starter. A fab range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. Brilliant service by all the staff. Although a large restaurant it still manages to maintain a very good ambience. A MUST for anyone with a love for all things Mexican!

This restaurant is fantastic! The food is tasty and delicious, with lots of fish and veggie dishes to choose from - always a bonus for me! The bill came to £36 for 2 and I think that's pretty reasonable.

I went here with my boyfriend and his parents not long ago and all found the food outstanding. Having not heard of this place before we did not really know what to expect, but since dining there I cannot wait for an excuse to go again! The whole experience was great, the service friendly and relaxed and not at all pushy! A wonderful balance of fantastic food, great atmosphere with attentive service- perfect!!!! I have and do recommend Jem & I very highly!

Well I have eaten here a few times and really enjoyed it. The food is beautiful. It's in the heart of West Didsbury (though I've never encountered any "wannabies" in this area of town???). The service is good and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for something slightly more sober than the Great Kathmandu.

myself & a friend went to this restaurant on Saturday evening, & we had a fantastic meal. My only regret was I had not been here sooner, seen it but never gone inside. If you like real food ,you will not be disappointed.

i am a curry lover, from the day my husband took me to that place it has become my last bus stop. i highly recommend that you go there because without test there will be no testimony.
