Amazing customer service, the decor in the restaurant is beautiful. The mixologist and chef are 10/10 would definitely recommend. Nice welcoming environment created by all the staff

Really lovely garden centre with a large restaurant. Open and airy and tastefully decorated. Very nice service and delicious food. I've eaten there twice so far and would definitely like to return.

Had such a lovely meal the first time, we returned. The food and cocktails did are amazing a lovely atmosphere. Service could be a little better, but I am sure this will improve. Looking forward to booking Motown Wednesday.

Have been going to The Barn Brasserie for years now and certainly enjoy the atomosphere. The ladies who serve us are lovely. The food has not been as good while the restrictions are with us as the menu for main meals has been reduced, but all in all good value for money.

Went with a friend and though this was at 10.30 during the breakfast slot, the staff were ok with the fact that we just wanted a coffee. Following a suggestion from her we shared a toasted tea cake and then another cup of coffee. The staff made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble

Always enjoy eating at the Barn Cafe. Food is excellent. Always good service and staff recognise you from other visits which makes you feel that they welcome your custom. I have taken several family and friends to The Barn. One of the nicest around Colchester. Lovely atmosphere too.

Booked for breakfast which was excellent. Despite being very busy the dining area was very clean and the staff were very attentive and helpful. Have been a few times now and will certainly be returning again soon. One of our favourite eateries.

I am disabled and won't go anywhere I see a faff - if my needs aren't important I'll go elsewhere. The Barn coffee shop has made my very small list of places I can visit with no faff, once inside the gravel outside isn’t great ( gravel or steps are my nemesis) but it is easy inside and the food is fab.

Lovely resturant nice and clean. Friendly waitresses. Food was tastey and well presented. Will definitely go back again and also told family to go and have lunch there
