Food excellent. Music too loud for my taste. Service very junior and needs a better wine list. Will try again when not late on a Friday night.

I had breakfast there with a friend and the Eggs Royale was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. I would recommend the Barn to anyone for their food and the helpful staff. Excellent and will visit again soon.

Food was excellent. Steak perfectly cooked and truffle fries were delicious. Atmosphere was slightly ruined by the music being too loud. Will try again when it's not late on a Friday night. Service was disappointing due to very inexperienced and junior wait staff. Wine list could be better. Caz seems like a great guy though and keen to fix issues, so this could be a great local restaurant.

We are regular visitors to the Cafe and will continue to return in the future. Food is always delicious and the servise top notch.

My wife and I found good all round service and staff friendliness. Highly recommended, will certainly eat there again. Battered cod superb, coffee excellent.

We had a really nice lunch at the Cafe on 22 May. The food was very nice and value for money. The service was a little slow but they did apologise as there had been a run on breakfasts. It was not really a problem.

Had a lovely coffee and treacle tart my friend had a cappuccino and cheese scone. Both were excellent. Surroundings are lovely.I would certainly recommend this place to eat and meet. However the only fly in the ointment for me was we later ordered 2 more pots of tea and paid our bill. The tea was brought over to our table and was told that they close in 5 minutes. If i was told when ordering and paying i wouldn’t have bothered with the extra pots as neither of us had enough time to drink our teas

First class when arriving everything in place waitress very good explained the menus and service excellent not the first time we have been and won't be the last recommend tha Barn to our friends Excellent and thank you for a pleasant lunch time

Visited with a friend for breakfast yesterday - our first time since lockdown! Food great as usual - felt comfortable and very safe inside the cafe. Covid precautions well established but did not feel intrusive. Expect to be back very soon!

We had a lovely meal yesterday 25th May. Very covid aware. Service was great and the Buddha bowls we had were delicious. We had a lovely walk round the shop and the garden centre afterwards. What's not to like?

Food was good, service was good as it always was. It just felt too clinical and lacking atmosphere.

Had Sunday lunch and it was delicious. Staff friendly and efficient the only difficulty was the lack of disabled parking.

The best roast we've ever had. The gravy was something else! Lovely decor and good vibe inside, the owner Caz is very nice and welcoming. We are looking forward to trying their other dishes and have infact already booked in to their Mowtown Wednesday.

Lovely food & good service on the whole - the only glitch was the booking system had allowed breakfasts to be booked at the 11:30 slot so we were told when we arrived we only had 4 minutes to order due to this ‘fault with the system’ To my mind they knew about the ‘glitch’ they didn’t need to make a fuss they just needed to extend breakfast to accommodate what was booked instead of making people feel like they were in the wrong ....
