We had a very good lunch in the cafe, the service was very good when we arrived but a little slow once we got to about 2.45. The food was delicious and the cafe is lovely to be in.

Light crispy beer batter with delicious chips. Good choice of soft drinks and a golden ale for my dad. Reasonably priced with efficient and very friendly service. We will return asap

22 Ventidue – DagenhamRan out of one of the starters, ran out of rosé wine (and this was at 8pm!), dirty toilets and rude staff. We stayed half hour then walked out. Safe to stay we will not be returning!

Yoshishi – Westcliff-on-SeaA quaint restaurant based upon Halstead town's central hill. This restaurant serves delicious Thai foods made on the premesis. I had the starter course for two which was around £11, followed by the King Prawns in "Glass Noodles". They had a good texture and a fair portion size. I shared an additional side of egg-fried rice. The meal had Excellent flavour throughout which tasted authentic to Thaiwanese food. Despite the restaurant being quiet because it was a Sunday night, I had a very enjoyable and delicious meal at a good price. I would highly recommend visiting!
